Funny/sad story -
My mother-in-law's caregiver (about 40 years old) sends text pics every now and then to my wife and her siblings.
Recently she was pressured by her hubby to send him a pic of her boobies and she finally relented. Guess what she accidentally included in her recent mom pics?
She was mortified when my sis-in-law called to tell her about it.
Bet her hubby doesn't get to see those boobies in RL for a while.

I changed it. Didn't want you to feel bad.

Only Urizen's bad battery kept him from interrupting the time-space continuum and posting a request before you got that spoiler typed.

So my 8 your old little nephew saw my gaming collection on facebook. My brother told him when they come to visit we will all sit down and play a game of Pathfinder. Any suggestions on what I should run?
If my kid's preferences are any indication, I'd suggest something straightforward with plenty of fighting and lots of opportunities for the kid to feel cool. And make sure you get your brother to run down what is and isn't okay beforehand, ie how much violence/gore/scary stuff is okay.
We're running the kidlet through Hollow's Last Hope at present and that seems to be going well. The one that we're currently using in the grown up game, Into the Haunted Forest, could also be easily adapted for 8 year old enjoyment. :)

That sounds good, I also think my brother will be playing with him.

BIG tip, given experience with kids who come from video games: make it fast-paced.

Awww, I didn't know the little guy was sick. Glad he's feeling better. Where are you going tonight?
We are headed to the gaming Mecca. We are going to be by Lake Geneva.

Gygax was Swiss??!?!!?!?!

Justin, glad to hear that Jude is feeling better. It's always tough when babies are sick.
Very much so, I think this is only the 2nd time he has been sick. Neither have been too bad, but I still feel really bad for him.

For him to be able to email you or to receive emails from you, he must first have your email address to put into an acceptance list. He is unable to do that right now since he does not have anyone's emails and the only way to do so is to send him a letter through the mail with your email so that he can add it to said list.
Clear as mudd?

Hi all. What did I miss?
Things have been crazy. We're visiting my brother and his family in Portland. We got the rock damage on my windshield fixed. I had a really promising phone interview for a job in L.A. We're trying to figure out what to do with our lives. That sort of thing.
There's 663 new posts on this thread, so I'm not reading them all. I'll assume that you all talked about how awesome I am in at least 600 of those.

Officially -- not really. But the possibility is there.
My son (9-yr-old) asked me if my old company had any rivals and if so I should apply there. I knew someone at one of our "rivals" and sent in my resume. I'm here doing stuff very similar to what I used to do -- only a little more focused. "Permanent" will depend on a) if there is still work to be done later on (likely) and b) if I can make myself necessary (hopefully likely).

Anyway, just wanted to say "sorry" since I hadn't really responded to you.

I'm not catching up on 1700 posts so let me know if I missed anything big.
I've been quite busy IRL, and I have some promising leads on jobs. I'm going to make a few posts and probably be out of touch for a while.
I got a letter from HD. If anyone wants to exchange email with him please create a throw away email account and mail it to him on a post card. He appreciates actual mail, and he says there is more info on his facebook page.
He sends his best wishes to you guys.
Jess, he says congrats on the house!
TOZ, he said to watch you six and get home safe so you guys can game some more!
Y'all take care.

I'd say "Hollow's Last Hope" or "Crypt of the Everflame." Or, if you're up for running a rather unbalanced and confusing adventure, "Stolen Land" would also be a good starter for Pathfinder.

And if there are a bunch of gamers that are going to be there with you, you could call it a Lake Geneva convention.
*ducks*
