I think I threw up in my mouth a little just quoting that.
Sometimes it feels like you're stuck playing Oregon Trail and management keeps steering the wagons right into Tucker's kobolds.

DO NOT paint a rose, they are incredibly delicate plants.

Hoping for the best with your Mom (and Dad), gran.
Several family members have been exposed (sometimes repeatedly) to COVID19, but so far only my cousin got (mildly) sick, which seems miraculous as nearly all of them keep failing to take basic precautions to limit their exposure. Which keeps pisses me off, because I don't know if my elderly cancer-survivor dad would survive contracting it.
COVID19 is also running through the post office at which I used to work; everyone there has gotten exposed multiple times with several clerks and carriers having contracted it. The couple for which I pet & house-sit, one of which is still a carrier there, came down with it last Monday but they'd both been exposed repeatedly for a couple weeks. This didn't stop them from taking a three-day mini-vacation bopping around in public spots here in Florida; I would have refused to check on their pets during it if I known they were still working near infected co-workers and possibly bringing it home. I know people are tired of restrictions and being cooped up/isolated, but the pandemic keeps going because people keep refusing to change their lives to protect themselves and others.

Depends on the rose, man. Rugosa and multiflora are tough as nails.

T-lions back woo
A time of religion and war legends tell the tale of a lion
This beast in the shape of a man with a dream to rule sea and land
And all those who stand in his way die by God and victorious arms
With the righteous that follows him south once more set ashore to war
Legends have taught battles fought this lion has no fear at heart
Lion come forth come from the north, come from the north.

Maybe something by Sir Mixalot.

The mowing department was shut down for a couple of weeks this summer because Skinny Jeans and a couple of his lackeys caught it but landscaping kept our start times staggered and every crew had another crew assigned to us and that was the only other crew we worked with this summer. And in the winter they split up the two crews so summer co-worker is in charge of half and I'm in charge of the other half.

This sounds suspiciouly like a math homework question.

And for anyone who can log in, is there any way within the rules to hide a simple spell effect?
This spell makes your eyes glow blue and allows you to see magical auras within 120 feet of you.
So permanent Arcane Sight is extremely useful, but you do really want to always have to go to the tavern with glowy eyes, or behave like Cyclops and wear sunglasses all the time?
It seems kind of silly, because it creates unbelievable headaches for something fairly trivial in game terms (except in rare situations).
"We try to hide in the dark."
"Sorry. Bert's eyes are glowing. The bad guys see you."
"Darn it, Bert! We TOLD you to close your eyes!"
And even a first-level wizard can cast Detect Magic and maintain concentration while moving around a dungeon or town, while not having blue glowy eyes. So Arcane Sight is convenient, but not game-breaking, but those blue glowy eyes really make a mess of things.

True, but it's useful for people who want to cosplay as Fremen from Dune.

Oh, and I don't think I mentioned it earlier, but my brother (who has been struggling with diverticulitis already), has tested positive. He hasn't had any breathing problems yet, but obviously they don't know if the fever is just from the diverticulitis, or that in conjunction with COVID onset. So, fun for him!

*removes cookies* (It occurred to me that I might need to clear the cookies, though it took me a moment to recall how could I do that without flushing all the cookies... then I remembered that I can simply use the chrome padlock icon to remove existing cookies of the website I am on... proceed and reload... now it works)
Note there is no word about them sheding light or being compared to an established light source, so it is no stronger than wolf/cat's eye being visible in the dark. SO yeah, you get to be Cyclops or Agent Smith with dark-tinted glasses all the time.

RE: permanent Arcane Sight and eyes glowing - if you have a permanent spell on you, can you ever voluntarily shut it off? I understand if this is not the case for, say, a Transmutation that physically changes your body, but Arcane Sight is a Divination.
Maybe its more like the angels on the show Supernatural; when you're scanning for magical auras, your eyes suddenly flare with a white/blue light? I don't know; that's what I'd rule in my own games, but then I'm just a fan of that show so...
