I would bond with you over some Iron Man Haterade, but you're nekkid.

I kinda dug Wanda, Vis I could give or take. But the best Wanda was from the X-Men: Evolution cartoon. Not only badass, but HAWT!

And I dug Beast as an Avenger, shoulda kept him and let Thor show Pym what it felt like to be beat on... Hmmmm, Jan coulda dug some McCoy, she's freaky like that.

But I am glad to hear that you liked it, I know how hard you can be to please with Hollyweirds offerings.

The last movie I saw in the theater prior to today was Thor (it was free). I didn't catch Captain America nor Green Lantern in the theater, but I enjoyed the former while I thought the latter was meh. I've yet to see the Ghost Rider sequel, but Nic Cage has been pissing me off lately with his acting by numbers has he's turned into a hack from the caliber he used to be able to pull off.

There's only three other films this year that I'll likely make the effort to go see in the theater: The Dark Knight Rises, Prometheus, and The Hobbit (Part One).

Spider Man reboot? Not after that last trailer. Looks like a watered down Batman made for the Twilight tweens. I saw the kid playing Parker and I thought it was Team Edward.

Fail.

Which means it'll make money.

The mods would frown, upon the link I wanted to post. Let's just say it's like the evening job, but with a change in participants...

So, I need lots of new clothes for the new job. I go poke around at the Nordstrom Off the Rack to see how far my money might go there (not far), and I notice that, men's shirts have gotten lots louder than they used to be. What style advice do the FaWTLies have for a guy looking to bring his CHA MOD up through the purchasing of better, but not necessarily crazy more expensive, clothes?

J.C. Penny - Stafford Oxford shirts - the heavy weave stuff. They look decent, no loud colors, and they'll last forever. Four of the ones I own I've had for over 10 years, with hardly a sign of wear or tear.

That and some Dockers pants - you're good to go.

If you need a suit - Joseph A Banks. Excellent customer service and it seems they've always got some kind of sale or special going on.

I am going to +1 this and add Kohls. I love me some Kohls.

Indeed. I have a Kohl's near my home, and like to get clothing there.

AACK! How could I forget Beast! He should my pick for best Avenger, him and Wonder Man was AWESOME!!!!!!

And yes..the (perhaps unintentional) cheesecake from the X-Men Evolution Cartoon was the show's saving grace.

So did they chose a logo for PF United yet or not? Anybody know?

I think I'll be skipping the new GR, as I found the first one to be Nic Cage: Spirit of Monotony. Whoever cast him as Blaze should've been beat.

It's easy to forget a member of the Avengers, might as well ask who a favorite Marvel hero was, they've all been on the roster at one point or another it seems. ;)

And +1 on Simon. Such a wicked cool arrogant ass.

Scarab Sages

My favorite Avenger has and always will be Captain America. I've always liked Iron Man as well, mostly because I like the high tech engineering stuff. Beast is another I like, also as an X-man, and (if I recall correctly) as a Defender.

W00T! Another Cap fan.

And correct on all accounts concerning Beast.

Scarab Sages

Cap is da bomb! I've still got all the Cap comics I collected. I think I even have some of them autographed by Mark Waid when he was doing a run on the character.

To me, Defenders >>>>>>>>>>>> Avengers. That said, I really don't care for the "goofy" aspect they bring to the title every time they remember the team exists.

And the Cap movie was FAWESOME!!

For my money the best one of the Super Hero genre, I regret not going to see that one on the big screen.

Am I the only one here collecting the Avengers Dr Pepper cans? I have all but Hawkeye, Riley's favorite, now.

Better than The Shadow by any means.

In my case it probably didn't help that it came iut at the same time as the Swedish version of the comic was in the midst of a turn to the grittier - and then we got a movie which was basically an ersatz Indiana Jones with an overacting guy from Hair as the big bad. As Devil would have put it: Grrrr!

But yeah - much better than the Shadow.

If she wasn't in such a rush I would have had time to get the rifles out. And the chainsaw, baseball bat, axe, assorted knives, posed in front of the grave, err, I mean flower bed I dug in the woods...

An after credits reveal of the next movie in the shared universe isn't exactly a spoiler. Pretty sure most people expect it by now.

I do not care for Adam Sandler -I hold him responsible for the death of snl as we knew it. Chris Farley is more of a tragedy than anything else, I like brad Pitt when he is coupled with a good director (he has my respect for learning a jamaican accent for meet Joe black), and Mike myers needs to either stay in the directors chair or in front of the camera, not both. The wayans belong on the small screen and behind the camera, although in living color remains one of the greatest sketch comedies ever made.

tomorrow my mum's step-grandchildren have their Confirmation.

do you have these in America?

in rural germany it is a big thing, I think it has many similaritie to,your high school prom.

first you have to go to Confirmatio-Lectures once a week for one year, go to church most sundays in that year.

The Confirmation is the first time you wear formal cloth, the girls a dress the boys a suit with necktie.
You get A LOT of money from your relativs and he whole village (usually everyone your parents know sends at least 5 Euro) boys buy often buy their first small moped with it.

big party with the whole family, then some adults (usually uncles) will give you your first beer (mixed with coke or lemonade)
in the early evening all the Konfirmanten from the village gather for the "Walkabout" they go togeher and visit every party and ge a little bit of alcohol everywhere (in most villages the parents make sure no one gets to drunk)
afterwards it will be OK to drink cola-beer in public (but you are not alowed to buy beer until you are 16)

in older times, after the Konfirmation you where concidered an adult Main-school ended and you started to learn a Profession

That beats the crap out of my confirmation. I was just able to get the wafer and wine afterwards and that's about it. I did get my first bible though, which I still have, and will probably give to my children when they are of age.

Got my birthday present from my wife and kid - a painting from this website called allpopart.com. It shows Charlie as Batman and me as the Joker. They must have used an actual picture of us. It's interesting.

On the other hand, yesterday at my FLGS, I bought some more Pathfinder minis for myself - got a Minotaur, a guardsman, the iconic paladin, and one other I can't remember at the moment.

Then when I stopped at Popeyes and ordered my 3 strip dinner, I had to wait about 10 minutes for it. When they finally brought it out, I had like 7 or 8 strips in the box. So that made lunch and a small dinner! Huzzah!

And I watched part one of the Fringe season finale!

Spoiler:
They brought back Leonard Nimoy again!!! And he's the bad guy!!
