Still cold out today, but a look at the long-term weather shows temperatures of 7 or 8 Celsius showing up for the rest of the week. It's possible that I may have survived another Canadian winter. I'm hesitant to get excited about it, as that's when Old Man Winter jumps out from a hiding place and beats me over the head with another blizzard.
Old Man Winter is indeed a wily bastard.

Haha yea, especially since I had to call a manger and be like "Duuuuude omgwtfbbq, why isn't this computer letting me open the store?!" And it was something minor that I neglected to do. *facepalm*

Morning, all. What did I miss?
Well, Don move forward with his plans of a hostile takever of the rival plastic utensils manufacturer, even though he knew it would cost him his chance of romance with Lilian. Meanwhile, after a night out on the town with a bevy of female beauties, Jim had to convince Emily that it was all part of his master plan to gain the new VP position at work. And, across town, Steve and Alexis woke from a night of drunken debauchery, only to find themselves dressed as clowns and lock in a cage with a hungry.....No, wait! That's my soap opera!

I love snow. Right up until around the end of March. Then I hate snow with a passion. I'm getting close to the point of running around with my wife's hair dryer in a sad attempt to fight back against the forces of winter.

I agree with you completely, for the record. Funny that you mention the hair dryer, we used to have to use one to melt the snow and ice away from our door to get outside in the mornings when I was growing up. Ahhh Vermont.

I'm pretty sure there is an evil little gremlin living in the Cappuccino machine at work.
I came in this morning and the coolers are plugged in but not on (the Cappuccino machine shares same outlet). So I have the janitors check it and make sure there has been no fuse or circuit blown (sorry if this is the wrong terminology I'm not really familiar with such things).
And it turns out that the extension outlet just needed to be reset. Or so I thought. 10 minutes later the coolers turn off again and I push the little black reset button and they turn back on. This happens 9 times and varies in time in between. Finally pushing the little button does nothing. So I junk the old dirty extension outlet and replace it with a newer one. It works!
...For about 10 more minutes. I fiddle with it and turns everything back on. I notice that I am low on coffee and proceed to take care of the machines and notice there is some cappuccino drool left over form Saturday that was not cleaned up. I cleaned it up and so far the coolers have not turned off. *crosses fingers*
I have to admit I'm probably being an idiot but I like the idea of a little cappuccino monster who likes to have his machine clean and full. ;3

I'd keep going with the cappuccino monster. I insist, rather loudly, that whatver machine I'm using (car, PC, Phone) is possessed of gremlins and begin smacking it when it doesn't do my bidding.
That sounds troublesome, wish I had some sort of related expertise to share.
