It was the bats that made me think undead, vampire association.

But I think you are right, probably not ghouls.

Like the pine trees linin' the windin' road
I've got a name, I've got a name
Like the singin' bird and the croakin' toad
I've got a name, I've got a name

And I carry it with me like my daddy did
But I'm livin' the dream that he kept hid

Movin' me down the highway
Rollin' me down the highway
Movin' ahead so life won't pass me by

Like the north wind whistlin' down the sky
I've got a song, I've got a song
Like the whippoorwill and the baby's cry
I've got a song, I've got a song

And I carry it with me and I sing it loud
If it gets me nowhere, I'll go there proud

Movin' me down the highway
Rollin' me down the highway
Movin' ahead so life won't pass me by

And I'm gonna go there free
Like the fool I am and I'll always be
I've got a dream, I've got a dream
They can change their minds but they can't change me
I've got a dream, I've got a dream

Oh, I know I could share it if you want me to
If you're going my way, I'll go with you

Movin' me down the highway
Rollin' me down the highway
Movin' ahead so life won't pass me by

Movin' me down the highway

Busy year shaping up.

Spoiler:
My 21 yo is looking at the Air Force. With a couple years of college done he'll be an E3 right out of boot camp. He's looking at this as a stepping stone into Federal Law Enforcement.

My 58 yo brother is getting married in October, to a younger woman. He's been a distant brother for decades despite living close. I wish him luck.

Daughter is heading into her senior year. Ugh. Expensive. She's already looking towards college. Ugh. More expensive.

Glad two of my children have shifted to a forward thinking focus.

My nephew in Boston is engaged. Looks like road trip to the East Coast next year if we can swing it. Wonder if I can sneak away and visit Monkey Man?

Think I need to sell a kidney. Or a dozen.

Good morning FAWTL!!! Welcome back Moorluck! I finally have some time tonight to work on some more terrain, woot!. Also the 3rd part of Serpent Skull is really deadly. Jude continues to get closer to walking and speaking English. I am pretty sure that kid eats more then I do.

Barely noon and the day is already in the crapper. *sigh* Maybe I am being pessimistic. Got to keep my eyes open for opportunities to turn the day around.

Off work for another day with lots and lots of stuff to do.

Moving the computer and all my gaming goodness out of the living room and into the spare bedroom.

Stuff tends to accumulate you know.

FAWTL Gang! We beat up other posters, and go through their avatar's pockets for loose homebrew rules. In a very passive/aggressive way, of course.

I blame the plant sex going on all around us. Filthy little buggers (except you, M!)

That is a big part of it. Plus the ants were on a flowering shrub and got on me when I brushed past it while dog-walking. So it's plants again. Bad sleep is because of stuffed up nose - plants. I'll shoehorn the chili-egg-cheeseburger into plant blame somehow.

Why would I do that? Puffins are free birdies to whom cages are anathema. I'm not very fond of them either.

{somewhere, M. Bay Shyamalan plots a sequel, with more 'splosions and plant sex and "whatta twist!"s}

Well, I'm back from DFW National Cemetery. My friend's little girl was real busted up that "Papaw is gone." :(

It's short and sweet, but they do those military gravesides right.

Is it time for an English lesson? The three nopes indicate the reason for the M exception. In the words of the Dolly Parton, there's nothing dirty goin' on. (Hopefully you know the rest of the lyrics.)

Granted you're not filthy (Urizen) nor little (KC), but you haven't really ever confronted the buggery question. ;)
