I was actually looking forward to going in to work today. Last week I got my new Verizon air card for my laptop, and I was hoping to get the software installed today. Looking forward to using it on the road.

Speaking of Verizon - the wife and I have considered getting Verizon Fios. Anybody out there have it? Is it a good service? Opinions FAWTLIES!! Zombie needs data.

We awoke this monring to my wife to be stepping in cat crap ...all sorts of fun. I then promptly spent the next hour trying to clean it up not sure which of the 3 cats has the stomach problem but they made a mess of things. Only on a Monday.

This is why all cats should be shipped to Siberia.

I have heard different things. I had a friend who got the special Fios high speed net work and lived in Boston and he had the worst time with it. He played WOW and got relaly frustrated because he kept getting kicked off and they tried to tell him it was his computer when he called but he had just bought a new one. So not my experience but I got this first hand when he was telling me of his woes. it hink it depends on the area. My fiance had heard for other friends of hers that they liked it. So who knows.

Glad to hear it.

My brother had a series of mini strokes on Thursday. Caused vision, balance, and numbness problems. Got out of the hospital yesterday. Looks like he's recovering too. Most of the problems were short term. Has to watch out for heart-related causes.

That's what I need. More Germans trying to eat me.

Oh man..that is serious. I will keep your brother in my prayers, E7, and I am glad your boss is recovering, Jess Door.

And since "nostalgia" is the word of the day, does anyone else remember that goblin-looking dude on Gummi Bears who used to mispronounce "knight"?

If so, what was his name?

Morning, all. What did I miss?

Still waiting to hear on some things from L.A. I wish employers worked more quickly. But they never do.

Hey CH! How's life out in the LA Sprawl? I swear, the one time I visited that place I was frankly astounded at the megahighways and the never-ending strip-malliness of the place. California is a weird place. North is some real nice natural wonders though. You done the Pacific Coast Highway yet?

Right now we've been visiting my brother up in Portland. It's a nice place, but probably not what we're looking for.

I'm waiting to hear on a few things in L.A. before we go back there. Since we're playing a waiting game, it makes more sense to save the money and wait here than to rush back and wait there (L.A. is too expensive to spend much time there without a job.)

You really want an option #6. That way, you can randomly generate with a d6.
