Very true, especially when Chinese food is involved. When it's good, it's so good. When it's meh, it's vile.

Ugh. I hate anemia. I have no energy at all and so much I was supposed to do today. Spoilered for TMI.
It's days like today when I think I'm just going to have to get over my weirdness and go through with the endometrial oblation procedure that my gynecologist has been bugging me to do for like three years now. Then again, my track record with anything even vaguely surgical is so poor that I just can't get over my fear that they'll utterly frack things up. Again.

The character making process with the kidlet is not going well. It was supposed to happen on Saturday, but ended up not getting started until yesterday because he's so engrossed in the new video games he doesn't want to do anything else. Just explaining alignment took an hour. And I still have to help him pick skills, feats, and equipment. Sigh. I never knew it could take this long to make the classic strong but dumb fighter. :)

Now, that I can respect. Honestly the hate-parade that makes up most of Freehold's posting gets rather tiresome.

Thanks. :)
You're right. It does suck for everyone. Stupid body that doesn't want to function like it's supposed to. :/

Honestly, at that age, alignment should be optional. Tell him he's one of the good guys and needs to play it that way.

I was kinda hoping it would give him a framework for what being one of the good guys actually means. In retrospect, should totally have skipped it.

Nah, Solnes and Moorluck own the rights to Spite. I just freelance in Marketing.
Although the GM keeps insisting that adding the Marketing PrC means my alignment automagically switches to Chaotic Evil.
And I would love to see a horror film where all the "zombies" were 4-8 year old kids. Or highschool teenagers.

Also, good luck on the house hunt, Jess. Hope you find something great.
Looked at four more houses today.
#1: neighborhood full of high iron fences, very small yard, and key wasn't in the door. Neighborhood already had a sketchy rep for high crime online, decided to skip it. Creepy feel, no parking for game nights...next!
#2: Nicer neighborhood, good yard, good room. New everything inside, looks like, and a cheaper price than the house I offered on last week, including new furnace and AC. Farther from work, and carpet instead of wood laminate floors, but overall a positive. Oh, and normal bathrooms instead of garden tubs or anything - slightly sad. Ah well. :) Maybe I'm spoiled.
#3: I was excited to see this house, but inside...issues. One big crack leading to the bedroom area, obviously not well maintained. Biiiiig zigzagging crack in the garage brick. I was sad, it had really cool earth tile floors, a big brick fireplace in the middle of a gorgeously large living room. The place had a lot of nice bones to it, but needed more work than I was interested in doing.
#4: Nice house, 2 story, all new inside, but it's a foreclosure with two offers already made. don't really want to get into a bidding war. Sigh.

*takes the heat wraps* I appreciate the thought. :)
Can't eat ice cream....oh how I miss it. :(And won't eat steak. Blech. I don't really like beef at all. Or any red meat, really. I'll tolerate lamb sometimes in small quantities. Yeah, I know, this is contributing to the problem. I eat a lot of beans and dark leafy greens, but it's not really as much iron as I need. So I take supplements.

Ugh. Yeah, foreclosures and bidding wars are not good. Well, continued well wishes. House hunting can be very discouraging at times, but you'll find the right one eventually. :)

Yeah, that was the thing about the first place that I really did like, that bathroom was amazing!

Yeah, don't end up in the position I'm in. :-/
Too bad though, sounds nice.

Also we decided to end the viking mini campaign we were doing. It was kind of a throwaway one-shot deal and it was fun at first. I mean, planes hopping vikings...what's not to like? But it got old quick and we were all kinda bored. So now I have a new first level character to make for me too.
Damit!! I wish you two lived CLOSER!!!! >:(

Yeah, that was a huge selling point. The bathrooms in the foreclosure house were also awesome.
It was really hard to judge house number 3 because the family was there - we had an appointment to look at the house, honest! - and they had almost NO working lights in the place. I honestly think they were renting or leasing - the place was not taken care of, and it was tragic. I couldn't even check out the bathrooms, they were...in use. But seeing that big freaking break in the garage outer brick was scared me off but good. if I were an investor or handy, maybe I'd take the risk, but I want a place to live that doesn't bankrupt me, not an investment property or a fixer upper.
got a couple more to look at...Friday? i think. We'll see. I'm liking #2. Everything that's not quite absolutely awesome is minor. :)
