Nah. In life, there must be balance. For all the meats, I must consume lots of veges as well. But seriously I feel like something's missing in my life if I miss out on either meats or veges. It's like this empty feeling inside you if either your meat or vege craving remains unsatisfied.

Naked snow leopard. ^^^ wonder if that is like those hairless cats? I feel that would only make the leopard more terrifying.

Actually hairless cats are rather freaky.

I admittedly don't have much of a veggie craving, but I'm a lot pickier about my food than some people.

One of the more convincing arguments for vegetarianism is stated here, where they talk about feed conversion ratios. Basically on the same plot of land you could feed more people growing soya beans then raising cattle. And since land is a limited resource...the more cattle you're raising means you can feed less people over the same land.

When it comes to animals, aquaculture and poultry rearing are the most efficient, but still not as efficient as just eating the plants themselves.

Of course, there is the counter argument that certain lands are only good for raising cattle and are totally useless for growing soyabeans...

And the world goes by supply and demand. Want to save all those rhinos? If you stop buying rhino horn products, the poachers will realize it isn't profitable, so they'll stop poaching rhinos.

They look like little wrinkly Gollums. My SO finds them adorable for some reason.

My vege craving in certain ways cause more problems then my meat cravings. Meat is fairly easy. Get a slab of...any meat. The problem with my vege craving is that it takes a pot of vegetables to satisfy =(

Well apparently millennials are killing the jewelry industry so We are technically doing our part to save the rhinos by not buying the ivory.

I feel its wrong to kill an animal for the horn. What you should have done was to butcher the animal and eat every part of it. Waste not, want not =)

Innards are not useless!

You can make soup out of them.

And heart is high in protein and low in fat.

More examples of innard use

Waste not, want not =)

As long as you shake it first.

And are not allergic.

I don't have any beef (heh) against vegetarians as long as they aren't preachy about it or act like I'm committing some horrible crime because I prefer a meat-containing diet. I'm just not interested in changing that.

here

A BMI value of 23 and above indicates that your weight is outside of the healthy weight range for your height.

Mine is about 24...

I did manage to get to 120 lbs before, and probably 120 lbs is more realistic.

I also do know that these days a good part of me is muscle which weighs more then fats...

Thanks though, Kjeldorn =)

According to the BMI, gymnasts, martial artists, and professional fighters are all overweight.
BMI is just a pretty terrible measurement tool all around, as it doesn't allow for any sort of variance of body type or anything.

As a national team member on an internationally-ranked collegiate tae kwon do team, working out 22 hours a week including at least 10 hours of full-contact sparring, you couldn't "pinch a centimeter" anywhere on my body, much less an inch. We didn't have fat percentage calculators back then, but from pictures and memory it had to be well under 8%.

But my BMI was 25, putting me squarely into the "overweight" category.

jealous growl, again

You DO realize that was 30 years ago, right? What were you, 7? I bet you had an even lower BMI and fat percentage...

If you're big, you're naturally scary. Me? I look so approachable that everyone asks me for directions/donations etc.The worst thing is I have no sense of direction. I would rather tell people I am clueless then give them the wrong directions.

I always "learn from people who do", so, always being too hot at Disneyland I looked at what the employees wore, and started wearing light khaki slacks, a polo shirt, and a hat. It's very comfortable, but now everyone assumes I'm an employee and asks me for directions. So I carry extra maps and direct them to NobodysWife, honorary "Disneyland Sherpa" who knows where everything is.

Scint, Open Control Panel, click System and Maintenance, click Windows Update, go to Change Settings. From there, you can change the time that updates are installed, say, 8:00 PM. When you leave for the day, leave the computer on but turn the monitor off. This won't help you right now, but it'll save you the aggravation later.
