Sorry to hear it CH.

We got a lot of stuff out of boxes at work today, but it's a little hard to organize things when you've got someone breathing down your neck who is focused on the only organized area that someone else managed to organize first.
So we put the things on the shelves, ignoring what we were told because it was just ignorant to tell us to organize that which is inaccessible. WTF!?
I'm taking a break now. I've worked my butt off the last couple days and weeks and I'll be damned if somebody who brought a bunch of shit we weren't even supposed to pack gets mad at me or the person I'm working with.
Jeezus!
</rant>
So, anyway, the store looks much better now than it did before. Most of the old things have been brought that were supposed to be, and a bunch of things that weren't supposed to be brought.
Treppa and I went to the store-furnishing store earlier today and while we waited for them to finish up our order a massive storm struck. There was no visibility, with massive winds and hail. The rain came down thicker than I think I've ever seen it come down. The parking lot we were in flooded in a matter of minutes up to the level of the doors of several cars. Thankfully we were on high ground. I hope those people moved their cars.
Now it's time to finish my post. Adieu adieu.

Hail!
Hail always looks more profuse when it's on tarmac than when it's on the ground.
Next time you see hail, try to ignore the streaks going down and just watch the little white balls seem to bounce around without cause.

One book I can do without, however upon reading the structure of the book, the stuff I wont like seems to be a single chapter and will have a ton of useful info for game that I like to play and run, this I will enjoy. I can even just get the PDF and only print out the stuff I will use ignoring the single chapter!!

Playing five days of cricket may have actually been the best available time-killer in 1751.
Somewhere in the distant past, I had a teacher that taught us to play cricket. High school? Junior high? Grade school? Can't remember. All I know is that we played cricket once.
Also, apparently I like watching curling.

I can't understand this game. I have friends from over seas who live here in the US try to explain this game. I just want to play baseball.

What can I say? Curling is coool. Try watching olympic trials sometime. Who knew there would be so much yelling about broom technique?
I tried, I honestly did. I looked up the history of the game, much older and more popular than I would have ever given it credit for. of course I am also the guy who scratches his head that people would watch world series of Poker. Now if it was Bourré, Live from New Orleans... naw couldn't even do that.

Curling is also one of those sports, like bowling, that can involve alcohol. And curling enjoys relative popularity in Canada BTW. Could be the drinking.

Things for hateraid:
All the works of Microsoft. Smurfs, Ewoks, and other forms of offensive cuteness. Bureaucracies. Stupid people. Easy listening music. Television (with occasional exceptions for cartoons, movies, and good SF like Star Trek classic or Babylon 5). Business suits. Dishonesty. Incompetence. Boredom. COBOL. BASIC. Character-based menu interfaces.
