Scint is going to be doing a D&D/PF themed summer class for her school, and needs a snappy name. It's got to be something child-friendly obviously, not too long, and so forth. Suggestions welcome, I'm blanking out on ideas sadly; she needs to pick one within the next week or so.

It's a summer program for the local community college - I'm aiming at 12-14/grades 7-9. I'm just going to teach the basics of how to play PF - character creation and working through an adventure.

I say go the Starship Troopers route and have the group be called "Games and Theory".
"Introduction to Interactive Social Gaming: Theory and Practice" is an idea. Hm... harder to come up with a course name than I thought.

Heh, it's just a short summer program. I have to get the class approved and see if there's interest before they okay it, but as I recall the rep from the place used the exact words "We will take what we can get..."

Today's class included an "it happened to me" safety video/clip show about what happens when you don't de-energize a switchgear before you start working on it (spoiler: it goes boom). Gruesome stuff, though the message was slightly softened due to the fact that the soundtrack consisted of a loop of "Someday" by Nickelback. After the video was over, one of my classmates quipped, "I know there was a graphic content warning before the video, but if I'd known that it was going to be Nickelback, I would have left the room."

Whenever I read "FaWtL" I always think it's short for one of the Adventure Path titles, but then I quickly remember it as Paizo's general random thread.
There are randomer threads on these boards.
