So, Palladium has finally got their Robotech Tactics game out (only about a year late), I received my first batch of Kickstarter rewards 2 weeks ago, and I see it is available at an online store I have used before. Now I just need to get to work on building/painting all my stuff. So far I have completed 6 Regults. This leaves me about 42 more. Plus 4 Glaugs, 4 Quel-Gulnau, 4 Quel-Regult, 8 Artillery pods, 18 Valkyries (3 modes each), 4 Tomahawks, 4 Defenders, 4 Spartans, 4 Phalanx. I think that's everything. Until Wave 2 comes out, when I get a bunch more stuff. All for a game I might never actually get a chance to play.
Wow well done on putting that much together, they looked a trifle fiddly.
The Regults aren't too bad. Only two really fiddly bits (the small lower guns on the front), but since they just sit in a ball/socket joint and can be pointed any way you want it doesn't really matter. Some of the others (I'm staring at you, Valkyries) look to be really fiddly, but we'll see when I get there. I started with the Regults since it has been 5 or 6 years since I built/painted wargaming figures, and they looked the easiest to do. Also, since there are so many of them, I don't really care if a few look kinda odd. Just call it "battle damage" and move on.

No "Mac II Monster"?

I protest via nudity if it was not included.

Okay, my left shoulder is in stitches, and my work with the blog story is still not done.

That aside, I've been doing relatively well. Still got two weeks of civilian service camp to go through.

Stitches?

Sitting in coffee/pub "wonderful years" and waiting for a friend. Tablet + Wi-Fi is good.

Happy Thanksgiving FaWtL. :) I hope everyone has a particularly great day today.

Thanks:
I am thankful for getting to spend my first thanksgiving in living memory in the actual USA, with my lovely new in laws.

Also that FHDM's weather dominator doesn't affect the "wrong coast", as the weather has been stellar for my time here.

Lastly, I'm thankful for stumbling across FaWtL, and getting the opportunity to know all the lovely people here. Y'all are sound as pounds. :)

I had a pustule / cyst / growth on my shoulder that had to be removed, and the surgery was yesterday.

In other news, the first short story entry is up on Icy's blog!

However, due to the absence of his proofreader, it will probably be edited at a later date.

I got myself Forge Of Darkness today, finally after so long time...

Lots of the (pre)history we knew in Malazan Book Of The Fallen seems to be false... Or at least told from a very subjective points of view...

Revision of <redacted> for <redacted> sent. Awaiting final editor's response.

And now I am tweaking overlord base class again. I rebuild the summoning today removing summoner-like 3+Cha summons per day. Now there will be a number of minions available that refreshes from death every day, a maximum number of minions active at the same time and a maximum number of specialized minion templates that can be called upon everyday.

It will be probably quite unplayable outside of solo play.

Another night with Polish music.

Lady Punk made a video that was shown by MTV in 80s?!

Those are in Wave 2. I'm getting two of them.

Argh. The available music is not the problem. Attempts to recall music heard ages ago when you never learned the name of the song or the band is problem... YouTube, the hell of things that you might never hear again...

I think that will be enough for now. Time to sleep. Maybe I dream of the old times and songs long forgotten.

Help wanted ad in local newspaper.

Position Available for a Waitress
Requirements: Be able to get to work on time.
Understand that there will be no texting while working.
Understand that sitting on counters and coloring pictures is not part of your job description.
Understand that just because purses on are display at a festival in Indiana you cannot be excused from work to go look at them.

Bottom line is--If you're willing to give me a full day's work, I will provide you with: A competitive wage, meals, car service if needed.

Sounds like they've had some difficulties with past employees.

Sneeze attack while carrying four liters of boiling water - not a good thing.

How much damage it inflicted?

Luckily I managed to flip it so most of it went on the stove, but you know, still scary.

(Although not as scary as Wednesday's paper route in pitch black night with fog and a temperature just below freezing, so the fog turned the ground into one big ice sheet, and the dark meant you couldn't look for safe footing.)

Only fell once, though. But I was prepared for it, so landed properly.

we went to my brother's house yesterday, he is a big south park fan, so he had a stuffed Mr. Hanky in with the rest of the kids toys he has.

my son, ever the comedian, found it immediately and spent the next hour or so chasing his uncles around with it saying "i'm going to get you with my Crap! open wide!" LOL

kids are the best!

With the title I was expecting Spark Mandrill's stage, not Armored Armadillo's.

The first CD I ever picked up in Chinatown, along with the Fire Bomber Soundtrack.

One of the best purchases/investments I have ever made.

Probably says a lot about me that I can identify the stages based on theme song almost 15 years after I first played them.

That you have better ear than me?

Ranger Brad, I'm a scientist-- I don't believe in anything.

I swear, I have told this venue promoter my name five or six times via e-mail, with correct spelling, and he still gets it wrong on the poster. This is not the first time either. Good luck finding my music online kids, because the guy on the flyer ain't me.

Daniel Melon?

Deivid Mallorn?

I'm more amused than I should be by something subtitled "Timeline Photos" having a screenshot out of Chrono Trigger =)

To make the overlord properly equal opportunity evil employer, I changed the mistress option to gender-neutral consort. The overlord is described with male pronouns as I, following the Paizo standard assign each class a gender of its iconic (even if I haven't wrote an iconic for any of my base classes, yet) and future overlord iconic ended being male. Mostly because the other "evil" class I doodle with was already assigned female gender.
