Afternoon FaWtL folk! I hope all and sundry are well and having a lovely day. :) A chilly 47F/8C degrees here, with winds to strip the skin from yer bones. Glad I'll have a week and a half break from it come Thursday. :P

Dark Archive

Well that would certainly explain why I'm so frakkin' cold...

Kidlet:
Had a fantastic weekend with the little one, he was full of cheer and energy and chatter. Still few actual words, but he recognises more now, like eyes (ow, no need to poke them out), mouth and nose (meep, meep!). I started working on ears and head too. He has no patience for toes or fingers, for whatever reason. :P

I also got him wellies and brought him down to the beach, on a clearer day over the weekend. He flippin' loved that. He was stamping in the water to make big splashes, and throwing rocks in for a similar effect. I had to hold him back to stop him running full pelt into the sea. :P Definitely something to do again.

Holidays:
On the less awesome side of things, you know what sucks just before going on holidays? Getting sick. You know what's worse? Needing surgery that prevents you from going on said holidays. Luckily for me, I only have the first. My mom's partner, on the other hand, has landed the second. She's seeing a specialist tomorrow but in all likelihood she won't be able to come with us, which is a major downer. Life sure is a crock of s**t sometimes.

Still, back to the positive, nine days in (hopefully) sunny San Fran, celebrating my brother's wedding, Thanksgiving, my mom's 60th and getting to know the in-laws. One of them is apparently a gamer, so that's cool.

Either my computer is angry at me or Paizo is, or maybe it's just Cosmo, but I can't copy/paste a campaign idea I've been working on from Google docs to Paizo, and I wrote it with tags and everything :(

Back from Mars. We have Martian infestation near our base and assaulting our automatic rovers. Thankfully I managed to snatch the rover's hard drive before our Sleepers saw its contents and our residential NWO supervisor censored it.

4 hours of sleep last night, maximum 3 hours of sleep tonight. Rough week ahead...

Probably the funniest thing I'm going to see this year. Definitely NSFW, possibly not funny for everyone else, given my warped sense of humor.

I'm losing my goddamn mind.

Martian problems? Better call Santa Claus.

I am pretty sure that he works for the other side...

Sooo, the physical copies of Advanced Bestiary are already printed? I wonder when they start sending them...

I already have mine.

Got mine today. Schwing!!

People are already getting them!

It might take some time before I get mine, though... We'll see.

I decided not to wait for later. That way I won't forget to post it before end of November.

Meh. Headache.

Evening, all.

I forgot where I left off the last time I gave a Kingmaker recap. Anyone want to remind me?

I'm down to my last three Yorkshire Gold teabags - and I've yet to find a Swedish store that sells the blend. :(

Most UK supermarket's online arms seem to hold it - Amazon do too, though what it'd cost to ship to Sweden I don't know.

You could find out what blend they use and recreate it (Assam, Kenyan and Rwandan, according to the website, though it doesn't say in what proportions a) if you can be arsed and b) if there's somewhere near you that does loose tea...

It's raining... Meh.

Not going to shop for now. I will survive on what I have. Uh. Not much. No eating for now, then...

Australian teenager died after a few shots of Polish 95% spirit and now her parents are demanding banning Polish spirit... Seriously? That's the solution to thoughtlessness?! Wasn't 95% alcohol enough of a warning? Ban every dangerous thing instead of teaching people to handle things with a tiny-weeny bit of intelligence?

Pure spirit should be mixed with something before drinking, sheesh...

Loose-leaf tea involves a £15 train-ticket these days, sadly (if I want something not sold at the supermarket [i.e. anything that's not Earl Grey or the Lipton's take on English Breakfast]) - so it might even be cheaper to look into importing it.

Lord Of The Rings Online is down for an earlier unannounced maintenance. Meh.

And the maintenance was extended. Double Meh.

Jumping between old Polish songs on Tube...

Lech Walesa singing I am the Walrus?

I don't care what anyone says - that should've happened!

I found a playlist "Old Polish Hits"...

Old?! Those are things from nineties! And lots of them from late nineties!

That's still 15-20 years ago.

7 hours of sleep out of 56 total. Shall I go for the record?

How old is old, really?

Saw a dog barking at a squirrel through a window. My first thought was "is that squirrel barking at that dog?" I wish I could fall asleep in the daytime...

Current outdoor temperature: 22*F. Current indoor temperature: 49*F and dropping like a f!!+ing rock.

Anyone? *Looks at earlier post*

You mentioned game progress in September and August, but your last full recap was back in March.

Cheers. It may be, saw a specialist today, spine related issues. But nothing so immediate that the wedding can't still be attended, so she's got that going for her.

Internet got hiccup. Grar.

I think I will go to sleep now when I am feeling sleepy than staying awake and rousing myself.

Silver Crusade

Alas, work has blocked the Paizo website with this latest round of "Upgrades to the system".

Got up because I couldn't sleep.

Internet is still acting wonky.

I recall a recap post concerning King Irovetti, but yeah, I think I know where I'm at now. Thanks!

I like this new guy.

That would still be better the other way around.
