Picked up the english translated volumes 1 and 2 yesterday. :D

Nice. :D I'm as far as v02, ch008, and am really enjoying it. Am unlikely to ever get the physical version without expensive importing though.

Does Amazon not deliver?

Yes, I totally shop naked online.

*sigh* I'll eventually remember that Amazon is a thing I can actually access without people having to remind me. Also, that is bloody affordable compared to buying an actual manga in the few stores we have here. Still importing, but no longer expensive. Go raibh míle maith agat. :)

Dark chocolate is better than milk anyway.

I get called a heretic all the time for this but I've always disagreed.

But I'm also the guy who prefers white chocolate so I'm used to being called a heretic on that subject.

No. Not a heretic. More of a poor misguided wretch.

Anyone here ever fiddled around with some versions of RPG Maker?
I have succumbed to the alluring headache of RPG maker, yes. What do you want to know of it?

How easy would you say it is to use?

I've had plans for an RPG with some eight bosses (and an optional boss with five mini-bosses guarding him) and six playable party members along with the protagonist. The main character is a shrine maiden who is given the task of defeating the other Japanese deities, who have grown complacent and neglectful of their duties while also having a hand in sealing away the main character's chosen goddess. On the way, she meets a deva and an asura who decide to help her out, all the while trying to steer her to the path of good or evil respectively.

chummer I've been out of the RPG Maker scene for years. Ease of use depends on which one you're using. Provided certain jerks aren't still in the community, you can get a lot of info on some of the old sites... Which I just realized are on the computer that died... Damn. Orthos ninjaed me in every other way. I need to see which one I have on the net book.
Out of curiosity which sites did you frequent? I was never on any of the 'big' RPG Maker sites, just smaller ones like War of the Magi (which admittedly was the better-known of the two, if only because RPG Advocate [guy who translated RM2k3] hung out there) and Fated Circle. Neither of which are, as far as I know, still functional.

...none of them, actually. o__o

Also, the version I have is RPG Maker VX Ace.

Unfortunately that's well after my time. I imagine it requires coding expertise like XP does, which puts it above my experience level as well. Afraid I can't help much with that.

Okay, odd question...

In what way does writing eight lines of code in an object and two lines of code in the main program save space when, originally, you were only going to write four lines of code in the main program?

I swear, programming instructors make no sense some days...

If you ever need help getting Japanese import, amazon.co.jp is the bomb.

I have finally finished my collection of raw Inuyasha manga. 2 volumes were sold out through amazon, but I found a reseller who would ship to the state. Whee!

As soon as my college's servers reboot from my test program crashing them (they told me the server I was using wasn't online!) and I find out how many hours of "bonus credit" data recovery I'm looking at, I'll take a look! I'm betting it's good ^^

In other news, the wireless where I am is fantastic...

Chihuahuas get tremble as a free action.

You've never seen them in combat. Vicious but honorable, like samurai.

And with that. Skyrim for fifteen minutes, then bedtime. Have a good night everybody

Thanks guys and gals. My Birthday is now officially over. Cuz I'm going to bed. :(

For those who wonder, (and those who don't) The pipe was surprisingly good. Expensive tobacco makes all the difference I guess. :/

No worries though, I'm still addicted to PbP, Video games, RPG's and comic books, and games in general.
I can't afford (or have time for) another addiction. ;P

And good night Fawlters!

:D

Sleep well, Ragadolf.

I see. On the bright side, I heard it comes with some base instructions. Also, I am not sure if I am up for DMing Legacy of Fire this weekend. Confident been going down. Then again, considering how some of the players have been unsatisfied with it for a while now, it's not surprising. I never really understood the issue they had (the main plot hasn't been made clear or something to that effect was bothering them), but it's still something I need to fix apparently.

Rock on! :D btw, are you a tea drinker? Any hot drink might do. Nothing quite like having a Lindor ball in your mouth, then taking a big gulp of a delicious, hot drink to help it melt. Mmmmmmm ^_^

Hmm, more options to keep in mind is always good. Thank you too. :) And congrats on your completed collection. :D

I was collecting Chrono Crusade and King of Hell for ages, but at €20 per book, it was pricey, and then they stopped getting those series in and I was bummed. Now, mayhaps, I can finally complete them.

Good morning FAWTLY Folk! Happy Thursday! A bit cool this morning, and I'm starting to hear the pitter patter of sleet on my office window. They said it might come down this morning. I'm just glad I got to work before that happened.

Scarab Sages

Gonna be another busy day, but I've still got a bit more time.
