I didn't try to sleep anymore.
If it is a spirit, you can set up boundaries for them to let them know there are rooms they are not welcome in. Warding a bedroom and a bathroom is usually best. That way, they do not bother you while you sleep.
Just make certain you expel them from the room first; otherwise, they can end up trapped inside.
also call 650-555-2368
they can help you
Last time I called them, they stated they couldn't help me because they were too busy trying to fight some kind of giant marshmellow.
I was calling them up because I was trying to counter this Gozer cultist spirit that kept claiming his god was coming to the world and I needed the backup.

Oh, and a much bigger boss remembers my name. He also seems to remember names of a few other newbies, though. I don't know if it is a good, bad or irrelevant sign.
For now I got a better, warmer jumper.

I went to let the dogs out and clean up the kitchen and realized very quickly that I haven't taken ibuprofen yet today. Hobbled to the door and opened it on my bare foot. Banged my head on an open cabinet, closed a finger in a drawer, and stubbed a toe on my other foot on the wooden table leg.
Can I get housekeeping workman's comp? :(

I gotta admit, I loved the scene where that chef showed pink goop to a bunch of US kids, told them their McNuggets and burgers were made out of it, asked how many wanted to eat them now, and all them plump little suckers shot their hands up.
USA! USA! We may not be first in education anymore, but we'll eat almost anything.

You're a walking Mr. Bean sketch.
This makes me completely rethink Treppa's seeming innocent comment earlier:
Carpe'd that diem, beyotches. Yeah.

Is this a uniquely "American" trait? Telling me that things that I thought were food but instead made by neon play-doh would make me VERY excited, just like it would have when I was a kid. I seem okay, it tastes like food but it is really GAK!?!? AWESOME!
I attribute that to being a kid...but maybe it was some sort of nationalist identity that I had no idea I was party to?

I made Mexican chicken casserole for dinner tonight and added a can of pinto beans. We topped each serving with sour cream. It's delicious!
To reheat, I'm going to spoon over fresh chips.

Interesting. I made almost the exact same thing for dinner tonight. I cooked some chicken thighs, deboned 'em, tossed a tomato, onion, fistful of mixed greens and green pepper into a food processor and hit 'chop', then tossed it all into a glass bowl, put some shredded cheese and bacon on top, then put it in the broiler for a few minutes and then put sour cream on top. Ate it with tostitos scoops. Yum. No beans, though.

Bacon! I knew I was missing something.

As long as it's not ultraviolet.
Damn you, Sol!
Well that was a brilliant TV Series (Ultraviolet, starring Jack Davenport).

Morning all! Hope ye're having a good one, and that the day treats you all well. Another late night (when does "late" become "normal"?), this time...
Read monster musume on mangafox.
I blame Freehold and TOZ. xD

Jamie Oliver was the chef in question. I believe their reaction left him somewhat speechless, if memory serves. He showed them the entire process of making that pink goop, to which they went "eww" at the various appropriate points (seriously, it's kinda nasty pink goop), and, still, not a moment's hesitation for eating them.

I don't get bent out of shape over the pink slime thing. I've seen sausage being made and still eat it.

How easy would you say it is to use?
I've had plans for an RPG with some eight bosses (and an optional boss with five mini-bosses guarding him) and six playable party members along with the protagonist. The main character is a shrine maiden who is given the task of defeating the other Japanese deities, who have grown complacent and neglectful of their duties while also having a hand in sealing away the main character's chosen goddess. On the way, she meets a deva and an asura who decide to help her out, all the while trying to steer her to the path of good or evil respectively.

I likewise have used RPG Maker, though only 2000 and 2003 (the latter being my preference).
The basic coding is actually relatively simple - in those versions everything has a slot in a pop-up menu, and you can make basic actions and events without much practice. There's more complex things you can do once you know the code better, like coding your own battle system from scratch, but that's obviously something that takes more familiarity with the system (and which I've never had the patience to learn).
Most RPG Maker games, without excess coding, are limited to a four-person party, so a seven-person cast will have some juggling of who's in the active party at the time. (Not too big a deal, so did Chrono Trigger.)
For me, the toughest thing was graphics. I could write stories and come up with character concepts fine, you can get music off the internet easy (older versions required MIDI, so I'd usually raid VGMusic.com; starting with RM2k3 you could use MP3s), and as I said the basic coding wasn't hard to learn. If you don't know how to make sprites, though, you'll either have to find fitting ones online or just use the ones that come with the default, which aren't very impressive.
Sounds like a cool plot basis though, let us know how it goes.

I did imagine I'd use the basic four-person party, just that you can switch between six potential ones and such.
Also, I do have a friend who is good with sprites, so I could ask him for help with all this when he has some extra time.

chummer I've been out of the RPG Maker scene for years. Ease of use depends on which one you're using. Provided certain jerks aren't still in the community, you can get a lot of info on some of the old sites... Which I just realized are on the computer that died... Damn. Orthos ninjaed me in every other way. I need to see which one I have on the net book.

Out of curiosity which sites did you frequent? I was never on any of the 'big' RPG Maker sites, just smaller ones like War of the Magi (which admittedly was the better-known of the two, if only because RPG Advocate [guy who translated RM2k3] hung out there) and Fated Circle. Neither of which are, as far as I know, still functional.
