Jealous!
By the way, isn't it amazing how video tech is now just taken for granted? When I first started going to concerts if anyone caught you filming with a video camcorder your ass was grass! Now it's just lift the phone and shoot

Evening folks
Hope all is well with y'all

Well, my motley-clad friend, I am done with another week, and now have many chores I am studiously ignoring in favor of the ravenous beast known as the Internetz. All is well now (knock of Leafman). How goes your day?
Lunch is over and I must slave away.

I never saw Hawkman as "conservative" He did show up very much a "warhawk" on smallville and I did like how they played off of each other.Too bad the Aquaman TV show did not take off. I think it is funny how it is referenced in Entourage. Not that I watch the show.

They have no video signs all over the place, but it's probably too much hassle to enforce when 20 people are doing it at any given time.

Lotsa folks posting there days. Heck, PbPs don't stay on the top 100 for more than five hours three days. And on a typical messageboard scan for only about five-ten minutes.
That's it, keep up the posting! Mwah!

Today yes. 3 copperheads at one house. I haven't had a day in the past 3 weeks that I haven't come across at least one snake, but up until now it's been brown snakes or corn snakes, or even a garter. But no, today was mean ass nasty tempered copperheads. Was. They're dead now. >:)
So what do you do with them? Do you collect the venom first?
And put it on your dagger "just in case"?

LOL, nothin so scientific (or devious). Today was just smashing them to death with a shovel for the first two, the third bit by way of a trenching tool. The carcasses went into the field behind the lady's house... she shoulda given me a tip now that I think about it.

Do copper heads taste like rattle snakes?

I hear they have a slightly more metallic flavor.

From the very beginning, you can kinda tell that if the use had been approved, it would've been Bruce and not Ollie in the show. Smallville's Ollie has a LOT more in common with Batman than the comic's version of GA. *le sigh*Aberzombie wrote:Actually, I don't hate on Smallville, i just am not into it. I like individual characters and episodes, however. LOVED the way they introduced cyborg, for example. The series rekindled my love of green arrow as well, although his comic is currently about to be dropped.Freehold DM wrote:i find it more strange that I just couldnt get into the show myself, save for the Legion of super heroes ep? Similar situation with supernatural, although to me the show will always be an off the rails version of hunter the reckoning.Damn you and your Haterade!
shakes fist
puts comic nerd hat on
The comic GA had a lot in common with the comic Batman from 40's-1967. GA, during that time, was described as "Batman with a bow". It wasn't until Denny O'Neil that they made GA into the "voice of the left."
takes comic nerd hat off
I never saw GA until he was the "Liberal" superhero. I always wondered why? Also did that mean all the other heroes were Republicans?
Because Denny O'Neil saw Green Lantern (Hal) as a "tool of the man". He wanted an opposing viewpoint for his Green Lantern/Green Arrow series. He set Ollie up to be that voice.

Okay, Urizen and other metal dudes, if I like Apocalyptica, who else will I like. And keep in mind, I can't help but laugh when the lead singer sounds like the Incredible Hulk.
Apocalyptica did not even start out with a singer for the first several albums; that's a recent trend.
Start with Rhapsody of Fire and let me know what you think. They've even been able to afford the services of a Mr. Christopher Lee to participate on some tracks in the past.
EDIT: Reverbnation didn't have tracks; sent you link to the Facebook page.
