Do you by chance know who Corina Prinkey is?
Ah ok, nevermind then.

Made it to Denver a couple of days ago and have been struggling with the altitude and catching up on sleep ever since.
** spoiler omitted **...
Glad to hear you made it in one piece!
I found that the toughest part about moving to a dry climate hits you about a week later when you find yourself waking up with a sore throat every day. I found that I had to change some habits with regard to water consumption, moisturizing, etc, to combat the dry air.

I am on the hunt for cheap movers who can pick up 3 furniture pieces I left at my old apartment (one of which is a heavy-as-hell pull-out sofa) to bring to the new place. I don't have enough people to move all that stuff for me.
What I am finding is the movers all want to bill for a 4 hour labor minimum here. It is a 2 hour job, including drive time! For that kind of money, I could buy new furniture! Ugh. Don't know what to do... I have to get this taken care of this weekend.

Post the old stuff on freecycle or Craigslist and buy new.

You know Freehold, I'm not a dedicated fan of Super Robot Wars (yet), but a friend of mine who is wanted to do a collaboration inspired by it, with our original characters from various sources as mech pilots. It's both hilarious and awesome in my opinion, so I decided to go with it. We haven't gotten to work on it so much so for now it's only an idea between two friends, though if I do become a professional writer some day I'll make use of that idea one way or another. I could write out a script and my friend would draw it out as a comic, or we could go for something even more ambitious as time goes on.
stops holding back manly tears I will purchase your work! In the meantime you might want to check out fanfiction.net- there was quite the super robot wars community there a few years back, but I think that centered around one of the in game universes (of which there are a lot).

Bah! That seems wasteful, since it is only going about 30 miles. I feel like I should be able to find someone who will do it for $200.

I find that monsters and npcs can be exhausting to create- I used to make one a day and save it to my one-a-day folder, nowadays i just create npcs randomly(or use an old creation) and use the plethora of monsters available in bestiaries and on a certain badger-created website.

Your time and aggravation is worth something. If nothing else, it's a fallback plan for the weekend if you don't find a good mover.

I can identify with that, but I have a pathological hatred of waste.

Tears of joy Someone would buy my work!
And oh, I created an account on fanfiction.net ages ago, but never used it.
I'm more of the original story kind of guy than a fanfic guy, even though I've done both. XD

Quite improving. Not fixed yet, (but please don't tell the vet) but soon.
The weather has been improving, as such my knee is not killing me anymore. I love rain, don't get me wrong, but it has been raining off and on for about 4 weeks now. I feel waterlogged. Thankfully the forecast says we will be dry all week.

She tends to be talkative enough to be heard when we're on Skype. =)
Is she still in the "everything goes straight to the mouth" phase?

Sometimes. She's a few months yet from two.
