Hi all, genCon has been fun so far. Except I got something in my eye yesterday morning and it was irritated all day. It seems better this morning. Ran in to several people from the boards and Fawtl yesterday, but still need to meet Tordek. I am also hoping to find some time to hang out with PMG and SM.
Who have you seen at the con so far, if anyone? Any interesting costumes?

I started to design Elven Wizard/Treesinger Druid. Which lead me to think about magical bonsai tree that would cast my favorite goodberry... Intelligent version of that item idea quickly followed.
Yup. An intelligent, speaking bonsai tree that can produce a few goodberries every day if asked nicely.
I like it.
And when I do go insane, I usually like to be Nekkid.

Was there a trait that gave +2 bonus to effective druid level when calculating abilities of an animal companion (i.e. a trait that would be half of a Boon Companion feat)?
I can't find any animal companion traits.

If I eat pineapple raw, the inside of my mouth and my tongue burns, and if I still eat more (pineapple is delicious, dammit!), I can't taste anything correctly. Sometimes for over 24 hours.Isn't it fun when a web search explains a mild medical problem you've been too lazy to see a doctor about?
Oral allergy syndrome. I now have a name for why I can't eat certain fruits raw, but can eat them just fine when cooked. And it's associated with my respiratory allergies. Who would have thunk?
My mother had that issue, she would eat it with cottage cheese and then not have an issue after.
Why were you thinking of taig in the same conversation with "branding"?
