FaWTLy and Assistant Wayfinder EiC, Paris Crenshaw created a cool Pathfinder RPG adventure. You can find it here.
(Also, Freehold, while it points to a Facebook page, you should still be able to get to it)
And now that I'm not at work, I can see this =) Facebook's one of the few sites work blocks.
And saved to GoogleDocs! Awesome. Will look it over!

And at the last, the final and strongest Dark Song from the Candlemere sessions. Sadly this guy - due to action economy being what it is - only got one round worth of physical attacks before the party brought him down like a chump, though he did nom pretty thoroughly on several party members in the process, including killing the duchess thanks to an extreme tactical blunder.
A bulging dome of pulsing flesh rises a towering twenty feet in the air, moving on a vibrating membrane of oozing spongy flesh from which echoes dissonant chords of some alien song, while tree-thick tendrils writhe along its sides to lash at any foolhardy prey that wanders into its reach. With a sudden lurch the creature's bulk reveals countless gashing wounds, which split and yawn to reveal uncountable mouths covering the surface of its corpulence, gnashing and snapping while unceasingly bellowing an unspeakable song.

SPECIAL ABILITIES
All-Around Vision (Ex) A chorus sees in all directions at the same time, giving it a +4 racial bonus on Perception checks. It cannot be flanked.
Bizarre Song (Sp) As a full-round action, a Chorus can begin singing from all its mouths, unleashing an otherworldly, discordant song that befuddles the minds of those that hear within 100 feet. The Chorus must choose one of three effects when it begins its bizarre song: affected creatures who hear the song and fail a Will save are either charmed (as per charm monster, DC 22), confused (as per confusion, DC 22), or feebleminded (DC 23). A creature that successfully saves cannot be affected again by that variant of the same Chorus's bizarre song for one day. This is a mind-affecting, compulsion ability. The Chorus can only perform its bizarre song or cacophony once every 1d4+1 rounds. The save DC is Constitution-based.
Cacophony (Su) As a full-round action, a Chorus can open all its mouths and bellow a torrent of cacophonous noise. Any creatures within 100 feet of the Chorus take 16d6 sonic damage; a DC 26 Fortitude save reduces the damage by half. The Chorus can only perform its bizarre song or cacophony once every 1d4+1 rounds. The save DC is Constitution-based.
Improved Silence Aversion (Ex) Dark Song cannot enter silence effects. If the spell is cast with one inside its range, it must succeed at a caster level check as if facing Spell Resistance before it can affect the Chorus; if it succeeds, the Chorus is shunted to the nearest square outside the border, and is pushed away from its edge as if bull rushed (no CMB check necessary) if the AoE attempts to move into or through its space; if the SR check fails, the Chorus completely ignores the silence, and sonic effects it creates still function within the AoE radius.
If silence or a similar spell or effect is cast on a Chorus and it fails its Will save, the spell deals 1 point of untyped damage per caster level to the Chorus before ending completely.
Song (Ex) Dark Song are composed of living sound. They are immune to all sound-based effects and sonic damage. If a Songspawn takes sonic damage, it forgoes any saving throw and is healed by 1 hit point for every 2 points of damage the attack would have dealt as if it had failed its saving throw. It is immune to any effects caused by a sonic effect, such as deafening. Dark Song use their Constitution rather than their Wisdom for Perception checks, and gain a bonus on Perception equal to half their hit dice. They are immune to mind-affecting effects (charms, compulsions, phantasms, patterns, and morale effects) and Wisdom damage or drain.
Spherical Anatomy (Ex) The Chorus's dome-shaped body is festooned with several mouths with which it can attack, speak, or use its sonic abilities, but the mouths themselves have little flexibility. The Chorus can still shift its body in many directions to attack multiple foes, but it cannot twist or fold upon itself to allow all its mouths to reach a single target. The Chorus may not target a single opponent with any more than 3 bite attacks in the same round.

positive waves, BP
what happened?
Having a hard time getting things to fall into place at work today. Rough day culling cabbie fairs. Three conventions are closing down and the people want rides to McCarren. I should be doing $300+ in fairs, but I took home a meager book of $262. Under inflated and some days it doesn't pay to go to work. Tonight is another story however. With sopme more sleep I should do better than last night.

Nice! It looks like it was a good thing it got taken down after a single round of physical attacks. :)

Yeah, the Bizarre Song had a distinct chance of messing the party up badly.

A suggestion, if I might. I'd rename improved silence aversion to greater (or strong) silence aversion. "Improved" hardly fits weakness.
Yeah it probably does need a rename, though I'm not seeing much of a difference between the three terms improved/greater/strong(er).
It's called Improved because normal "silence aversion" is a property several of the weaker Spawn have. They can't resist the effects at all, and end up being shoved around like shuffleboard pucks whenever a silence effect comes near them. (Elegy used this to shove two of the Andantes off of a floating plateau.)
The improved version has the situational SR that occasionally lets them ignore it. The even better version of that is the Piano's Sing in Silence, which allows them to power their way through silences by making a manifester level check (versus the silence's DC + 10) to ignore it, rather than allowing the enemy caster to try to overcome their SR. And gets the best name of the batch, obviously. (As well as being a reference to one of my favorite bands.)
Silence Resistance is the next best name I had in mind, really, since it grants them the situational SR.

My bad, I haven't compared it to previous monsters. Greater silence aversion is not appropriate in this case. Maybe "limited silence aversion? Or "silence repulsion/revulsion".
Aversion suggest (at least to me) more of a psychological reaction while from the description I got impression that it is more of a (meta)physical reaction.

Oh, they want to drag me off to do military service against my will.
I have better things to do with my life, and I'm not in the condition for military service!
You still have obligatory service?
Poland dropped obligatory service a few years ago. I was found unfit for it due to bad sight (shortsightedness plus astigmatism).

Yeah, that ruined one of my favourite bands (Dimmu Borgir), when Trym got called up. (I think it was Finland rather than Sweden). After that they moved to a rawer sound.

Good luck with that man. I have nothing but respect for people in the military, but I am under zero delusions that I would be of any use to them. Hope your efforts work out.

Had our PF FR game last night. The final battle against the hag coven we'd been at war with. Last night it was down to the coven's last remaining member (and leader), a night hag.
While we had been away dealing with her coven sisters, she had been busy messing with our town. So we laid an ambush for her and her nightmare. Needless to say, we buswrecked them both.

Good. The only good hag is a dead hag.
