I admire her courage in returning after all this time. I was sure the site would be abandoned. That's gotta be tough. Good for her!

Yeah quite the opposite - the 5000 comments in reply aren't just because of lucky timing - replies maxed out the number of comments her site can hold and locked it. There's been a lot of people worried about her and waiting to hear back, and obviously a lot of happiness that things are working out a little to the better.
Just from a quick scan through it's nice to see how many of them are positive and how little trolling there appears to be. Warms my cynical little heart =)

Eyugh. That's happened to me before once.
And of course the first thing that jumps into my brain is my dad's old joking re-write of "Yesterday" as "Leprosy". Master of taste and culture, I am not. =/
Welcome to the club. We are a small but proud group. ;)
Not popular per se, but proud,... ;P

Well, "Money cannot buy you happiness, but it certainly gives you options."
And a lovely day to everyone, whilst for those who are not having one. I hope it will all get better with the careful application of time.... and coffee.
Oooh this weekend I might not actually have anything on, for the first time in months.

Or to translate an old Swedish election slogan: "A medal is fine, but first I want a proper pension."

Isn't the story that McCartney quite literally dreamed up the melody in his sleep, and as soon as he woke up sat down at the piano to get it down before he forgot it, making up nonsense-lyrics as he went along, with the first lines being "Scrambled eggs, oh my baby how I love your legs"?

Wow, 3 hours with no activity here.
I'm working on my Mandarin translation of Paizo's Goblin Song. What're you people up to?
Revolution once again foments amongst the Poa pratensis intelligentsia. They incite the Genus Festuca to become unruly, sending Digitaria agents provocateur slithering amonsgst their orderly ranks. In iron times like this, their master must show them the error of their ways, else be swallowed up by their ever-growing masses.
I used to enjoy translating songs into Arabic whilst I was studying it.
Ana Khasseru Aziza,
Le ma la Tetekelne?
Hurm. Loses something from the original Beck though...

You should translate the Goblin Song! Join the movement!
I'll post my Mandarin version soon... need to get it vetted by a few native speakers first.

As FAWTL approaches its birthday, I get a chuckle. Our usual advice is to not feed the trolls. Alas that is the advice we strongly neglected. Somewhere IssacX is burning, maybe with rage, maybe with a glimmer in his eye that we have proved his point. Either way, wait where was I? That's right I need some btth stat! Only 4 hours left til the weekend.
