First ot opportunity since january, this saturday. Too bad it interferes with social life. And looks like I might be working 48 hours a week for the next three months. Not bad so I can use that money for fun and the rest for bills. Wish list: tattoo kit and a pistol. Tattoo for a hobby and the pistol for a date idea. The girl I'm trying to go out with loves shooting. Damn she might be staying in town this weekend and I have to work ot. Ahh I now know why most people hate ot. Btw if any of you have a toolbox in the back of your truck out are looking at getting one don't let me see you :P

From the shadows of the stars
Comes a man with no face, soul of million scars;
An evil Count, The End of Days,
There are many ways to -
Take full advantage when we cannot see,
Make us live in a part-time reality....
To get a hold of the only seed,
We must make them all see bloodshed that is he.
Splitting hairs is not the key -
Water or fire?
Take full advantage when we cannot see,
Make us live in a part-time reality....
One flash of light and for good we are gone;
No one to wonder what we have done.
New breed of ignorance, new circle will start,
Unless we try real hard.
When you wake up, was it a dream?
All the sick paradoxes all around the world.
In the mean time, Count, he leaves
From the land of the free....
Take full advantage when we cannot see,
Make us live in a part-time reality....
And they take full advantage when we cannot see,
Make us live in a full-time insanity...!

One of my co-workers went all the way to Japan because a ship was having a problem. He was even delayed for a day in Chigago going out there.
Turns out, the problem was because a run of pipe was full of water and the ship neglected to follow procedure to ensure it was drained.
No ninjas were involved?

My fellow FAWTLies, we gather here today to offer a respectful disposal of our vanquished foe, A. Nony Mouse, member of the house of Rodentia. She fought a valiant battle, avoiding my traps and foraging in the kitchen for days, but at long last, her excursions into Kitchen Cabinetland are over.
We must remain vigilant, however, for the armies of the House of Rodentia are legion.

Pray tell, what valiant tactics brought glorious victory over invading sir A. Nony Mouse?
Snap trap + peanut butter.
And then long barbecue tongs and a trash bag for disposal of trap and mouse corpse altogether, because no way am I actually touching a dead mouse to remove it from the trap.
And how much XP was it worth?
I don't know, but I think I deserve a bonus due to the fact that this is the third one this week I've caught.
The annual rodent invasion is the one thing I dislike about this time of year. :P

Weird.
Turns out, you're not far wrong. She was probationary, and there were "conduct" issues, so they offered her a choice: termination or resignation.

I decided that since I already have a job, I would just look around carefully at jobs that would actually be an improvement over what I am doing now. I'll just keep my eyes open and put my resume out when I see something good.
Go for it! I finally got fed up enough to do it, and got about the same hours, but a 25% pay raise, and a place where I have a chance to improve my career, instead of a place to park for a while (which has its value for people, but isn't for me right now).
I hope you find something awesome! I hope all the Fawlties looking for additional/alternative employment find something awesome!

Good morning everyone. Life moves slowly and I'm still looking for a second part-time job. Any suggestions?
Well, we're approaching the time of year when seasonal retail work picks up for the holidays. I've considered doing seasonal work during that time of year to pick up some extra cash, but with my work schedule and on call, it wasn't really feasible.
