Well at least it is more money than the last job. :/

What the frak is going on there?

One person left in tears. IDK man I just think personality clashes. The trainer kept talking about how nice she normally is, but man I did not see that ever, not even the first day.

Good morning FAWTLY Folk! Happy Friday! WOOHOO!!! Three day weekend coming up!

Scarab Sages

Might just be time to hit the PA Renaissance Fair.

Scarab Sages

And the Swashbuckler Brewing Company.

Scarab Sages

MMmmm....beer

Scarab Sages

Driving in to work today, I saw some trucks towing flatbeds with hydroplane race boats onboard. Pretty cool.

Scarab Sages

Not a lot of people at work today. A good many folk like to take off today and get a four day weekend in. Can' say I blame them. It's kind of the last hurrah before the weather turns crappy

I find it really difficult to believe that sailors are suddenly claiming ignorance of a testing requirement that has probably been in place longer than some of them have been alive.

That one's just for FHDM.

Okay, it's time to call a supervisor. I normally don't encourage ratting people out, but that's not acceptable.

I tried to warn everyone. I really, really did. Facebook's evil cannot be denied any longer.

Scarab Sages

But....but....what if we want the apocalypse to happen?

Scarab Sages

All righty folks. I've done all the damage I can do here. Gotta go see a man about a cup of coffee.

Sorry, FH DM, but I could not resist that Buffy quote.

You know what Doctor Who needs? An episode with Ninjas! I mean they have had space pirates, why not Ninjas?

I can see the Doctor say, "Ninjas why did it have to be ninjas?"

Don't worry I'm working on it.

That really has become my favorite word in recent decades. And people say there's nothing to be learned in speaking Giant...

fumbles around to find her coffee i.v. setup

G'morning, FAWTLies! How's your Friday?

I'm not happy to be in the office on what should be my telework day, but on the up side, there is Pathfinder tonight.

Campaign nattering ahoy:
Our last session ended on a cliffhanger, with all but one member of the party dead in Hell, and the surviving member of the party fleeing the devils that killed the rest of us. The DM ran a solo for her between sessions, and we'll see if she managed to figure out how to get us back tonight. (I'm assuming she did, because we haven't been told to generate new characters.)

Lindisty that sounds really great, the game that is. Hope the work is quick and coffee hits the spot.

Aye, Fimbulwinter is a great word, although I do like the word Gill (arse) in place names.

hi everyone

as a Workshop Moderator and Continues-Improvement-Coach I totaly belive it

I have seen people develope a procedure in a week long workshop, than write the operating procedure themself, train their co-workers in it and a month later claim to have never heard of it

WOO!! Final summary posted for Kingmaker Chapter One! (Stolen Land spoiler warning here)

I happened to see Melancholia the other day. What a beautifully depressing movie.

So much fire...

Friday? Already?

<Sigh> Start of another long weekend of work for me. :(

I WISH Fimbulwinter! Last year we had NO winter! I think I wore a coat once. And I had to continue to mow my lawn all through Dec & Jan.

NO one should have to mow their friggin' lawn in Jan. Just sayin',...

Happy Friday FAWTL-ies! See you later,...

Eventually,...

I'll post the rulers and such as soon as they're officially decided on. As is, the party cabinet is already pretty weird, what with the Drider Diplomat, Kobold Assassin, and Worg Warden.

And the Centaur General.

Let's face it, the only normal ones are Elegy, Takeshi, Svetlana, and Akiros. Errol might appear normal but he's not by any stretch of the imagination. And Elegy is pushing it.

And two of those are NPCs!

Silver Crusade

Today is one of those days where I feel like walking out.

When I work hard and bust my butt, all I hear are complaints that I am behind.

When I feel unmotivated and can't make myself care anymore, all I hear are complaints that I am behind.

Are we sensing a pattern? I'm honestly not sure it matters what I do.

45 minutes to Temple of Elemental Evil

wohoooo

Sometimes I really wish I had a deep fryer.

Then I realise how often I'd be making chips or frying Camembert and decide it's still for the best that I don't have one.

Silver Crusade

I have not had fried camembert. It looks fantastic.

sneaks in and whispers very, very quietly

I have fifteen minutes before I go on leave for two weeks. I'm hoping nothing explodes between now and when I'm due to leave.

(Of course, there are two meetings happening while I'm on leave that I have to call in for, but that's better than cancelling my vacation entirely, which I considered, given everything that's going on at work right now.)

I'm sorry to hear they're taking advantage of you at your job, CH.

To be honest, I mostly have it as an excuse to eat some warn mulberry-jam. It's scrumptious!

I think there's an element of that, but I also think part of the problem is that I'm in the wrong job. It is not a match for my skills or temperment at all.

You're in a sweet position to search for one that suits you better, at least. Count your blessings, winged one! :D

dood, you have any idea how many Buffy fans I encounter on a regular basis here? I can't swing a greataxe without decapitating one or two of them.

Spoiler:
No, really, I can't. I think I may have a problem. hoists bloody greataxe on shoulder and punches out for the day,
