Naked amusement.

Liberty's Edge

The art in Magic the Gathering is getting to be just surreal.

COOL.

Not carried by the Paizo store, I guess.

EDIT: Of course, you could just use this table and not spend money on yet more dice.

The good kind of surreal or the stab my eyes out with a paintbrush kind of surreal?

A little of both, actually. It's the Phyrexians. What a strange bunch.

Are you trying to tell somebody something? Anyone in particular? Any particular number from one to ten?

Nope, I just love random tables. Next Lent, you could roll the die and consult the table to see which commandment you will work on for the day. :P

But with Ten Commandment Dice (tm), I can roll for a radom sin at need!

Yeah, I agree. (Well...relatively random, anyway. It's not like they're Gamescience dice!)

Also, <burp> PIE.

So we only get to break one each day? Bummer.

Testing.

EDIT: Dang, pi is ugly here. I wish our font was nicer.

Do we roll a D4 first to see which interpretation to consult?

Also, I will make a Treppa T-shirt for next Lent, with the caption "Unclear on the Concept"

No. Think of it as knowing what edition you are playing.

Yes well this is one of those OSR times.

yay? Karen is going to be pulling a double shift today. She opened and she will be closing. Good thing / Bad thing.

Time to break out the questionable content buried deep in the hoard and enjoy it until she returns home. What?

Well, she might get upset that I am not incuding her in the perusal of said questionable content.

"What are you looking at?"

"Nothing." <stashes away magazine>

"Can I see that?"

"See what?"

"This!" <she comes over and plucks the magazine from your grasp> "Williams Sonoma?"

"Uh...yeah."

"You have plates dog-earred. Why?"

"I want to make a plate dragon costume and mingle at a furry convention."

"I find this to be questionable."

"Don't you oppress me! I have feelings, too!" <snatches magazine and runs out of the room bawling>

Liberty's Edge

Alright, I'm back. I've been dealing with some serious RL issues, but enough of them have been dealt with that I feel comfortable coming back.

I'm not even going to bother catching up on back posts. What's been going on?

Welcome back.... As you can see I made a sad joke about Sith's and now this is my main Avy. Not that I chose it, it just is and it is not giving me the option to switch it back on a permanent basis.

Avoiding blizzard conditions in APRIL, stuff like that. I hope all RL things are going well or will be soon for you.

:)

I just got my first "smartphone" yesterday evening and I feel so puzzled trying to figure everything out. I had one of those old school flip phones for the past 6 years and this is leaps and bounds ahead of what I'm used to. I'll eventually be able to do a lot more things mobile, which should be interesting. Right now, I'm still figuring out how to text. Trying to make a phone call has proven difficult so far. I feel antiquated. Heh.

hehe, I still have one of those basic phones, and get the weirdest looks. I like my phone to be simple, what can I say?

Connection kinda sucks out here, so page loading is slow. My gal got the iPhone while I got the Droid 2 Global. I was insistent on having that pull out qwerty keyboard.

Waiting for cell phones. I want to pay as little as humanly possible.

Afternoon all....

Still finding my way around my new iPhone. have to say the autospell is a not-so-great feature, especially for those of us that spit in the face of Noah Webster and type words in strange spellings for our own seecrit amusements...

Did you offend Mr. and Mrs. Star Wars? I didn't realize they would use the Force in that way.

My iPhone is really awesome although the iPad is cooler:)

Welcome back Shiny! Always good to see an old comrade in arms..

Good to see you, Eldritch Mr. S.

Personally, I'm not exactly pleased that we're paying more for our service now ... A LOT more, but she HAD TO HAVE HER IPHONE. As a concession, she picked up the cell phone bill so it's one less thing I have to pay out of pocket given my meager existence. :P We went with only 700 minutes shared (as I rarely talk on the phone), but went with an unlimited data plan as I suspect once I get the hang of it, I'll be on fire.

I'm hoping her employers will pick up a corporate contract with some of the providers soon so we can knock down that monthly bill.

I'm making use of the autospell function for now until I build up typing speed and thereby do not have to depend on it. Still weird using a touch phone. I need to figure out how to find apps here shortly. I imagine I'll have a lot of reading with the manual I downloaded.

You will take pry my iPhone from my cold, dead fingers...or when you give me a new one with 4g.

Thank God the EMSP reads his computer screen through a blue glare screen shield, so he knows nothing of this.

THIS is so cool from Best of Dragon, II. Am I the only person who'd like to see layout like this in a Paizo product?

The ultimate in coolness, even if its utility was minimal. Still, quite an interesting read! I had also forgotten that Tim Truman did some TSR work. I love his Conan work =)
