Vampiric Weapon

I'm trying to create a dagger with a vampiric quality. Similar to Artemis Entrari's dagger. Is there anything in the current rules for anything like that?

Honestly i do not think so. Artemis Dagger is a relic of 2nd ed, when vampiric touch worked differently. Back then, you gained hp up to your max, and then anything over your normal max was considered temporary.

They changed this to prevent wizards using vampiric touch as a wizards heal, in 3rd ed. Where now all the hp gained are considered temporary.
.....
DM could alway house rule that it works like Artemis Dagger for homebrew games.
....
I would just treat it as a relic of past ed, and all new "Less famous" items would work based of the new way vampiric touch works.

In 3.0 there was an enchantment (Magic of Faerun, I think) for melee weapons that did an extra 1d4 damage and you healed that much.

Depending upon how much vampiric you want it to be. There were 3.0 vampiric weapon quality and I think that it was updated somewhere to 3.5 but it might be third party product.

Not exactly vampiric weapon ideas to consider:
Intelligent weapon that allows using vampiric touch one or more times per day, spellstoring weapon variant holding vampiric touch recharging once per day or maybe weapon that allows using death knell at will.

The Magic Item Compendium (3.5) has a +2 enchantment called vampiric that does an additional +1d6 and you heal what ever is done that way.

What I would use would be a weapon enchantment that lets you use vampiric touch at will, cost you a butt load, but if that's what you want the only way to get it is to pay more :D and have a mage on staff :p
