That was pretty cool and i think Rizel is going to be a trip.

So what was the Oracle's Curse, I missed that part?

One question: why does the GM have different colored eyes?

thanks for your comment.

Sacha's Curse is "Clouded Vision". She is shortsightedness.
I forgot to write it.

Anastasia has odd eyes.
In Fact, she is a character of other campaign.
she is abberent bloodline sorcerer.
Her eyes color is mark of abberent.

Nice soundtrack! I'm looking forward to the next chapter.

I'm fond of drow, so my favorite (so far) is Larvi. I also like Sacha and Orlin.

Rizel's player is a good artist. Some of my friends can draw in that style, but I'm hopeless.

Why you cant transrate onto engrish?

There is no "L" sound in Japanese. Furthermore, depending upon what system of romanization is used, the kana that equate to ra, re, ri, ro, and ru may be written as la, le, li, lo, and lu. So, when a Japanese person that isn't strong with English reads an English word that was spelled using kana and then tries to translate it by guessing or using software, then we should be surprised any of it is even decipherable.

That doesnt explain translation that way on paper. It really doesnt, translation software doesnt put L's were R's go just because the japenese dont have that sound in their language. The sound of a language is irrelevant to the written form.

Lastly, because the video was so crazy and ridiculous and had a bunch of out there stuff I wouldnt say that it is far fetched that it is a guy just messing with everyone. Atleast thats my two cents. Not saying he definitely is, but come on translating into a written language with speaking errors?

Oi I ain't sher i' thits how it relly wurks.

On the "weird story" argument, I've had weirder campaigns.

So what you have to understand about Japanese is that the language absolutely loves grabbing up foreign words to use as their own, so it's full of cognates. However, it's relatively phoneme impoverished, so the cognates aren't perfect. This makes translation somewhat easier, but spelling can still be an issue.

For instance, the only consonant they can make without adding a vowel afterwards is 'n' (and by extension 'm', but it uses the same phoneme for them). This means that they have a word for comment that is essentially 'komento' or 'ko' 'me' 'n' 'to' if you split up the phonemes used.

There's a few ways to try to spell this if you don't know the English off the bat, many of which would look like an American misspelling the word comment. The main problem is, there's a whole lot of ways something can be spelled in English that would come out the same in Japanese, so it can be hard to figure out which English letters to use if you don't know.

For instance, if you were an American Japanese -> English translator, consider if you saw the word 'eikon' (the ei is a long a as in 'ace' or 'ape'). You might be tempted to say that this is "acorn", but it turns out to be air conditioning (Japanese is fond of shortening cognates in this way, as seen in pocket monsters -> pokemon), so you would want to spell it "air con."

Last thing on this lol I dont want to thread jack anymore than I have.

I didnt say the story was weird, I have had some doozies myself. Its the video I thought was out there. fast text scenes, typical japenese pop music (not bad just typical), several sexual references, furries, ect.

I know its not that out there for japan, just seems very very stereotypical to me... harsh maybe to say that?

Scarab Sages

Very cool!

And I noticed you use IRC+MapTool -- I use MT for all of my campaigns, and I play in a MapTool campaign as well. Many of the Pathfinder Society Online Collective (search Google Groups) use MapTool or TTopRPG, with a few GMs preferring d20Pro.

MapTool has been translated into a half-dozen languages so far. If you're interested in creating a Japanese translation, see this thread on the RPTools forum and then contact me if you have questions.

Actually, the speed for chapter one was pretty good. A little slower than I personally would prefer, but it wasn't bad at all :)

I think the speed of the text was fine in Chapter 1.

Edit: As kyrt-ryder said in the previous post.

Map Tool is very cool software. Thanks for your team.

MT's Japanese Edition is already exist.
I already use it. thanks.

p.s.
The tool of the Web base named dodontof is widespread in Japan. As for it, the operation is easy though functions are far fewer than MT.

What an interesting movie!

I was aware of the translated Pathfinder wiki, but Golarion-related information, like the fact that Common is called Taldane, I would expect there is no translation available. Beyond that, you can even play Council of Thieves, so your English must be excellent!

Even my girlfriend who is fluent in English could barely understand the maps at the end of Part 1 of Council of Thieves. She showed them to me afterwards, and I agreed that they were very difficult to understand, even for a native speaker. If your GM could understand it all, your GM is incredibly skilled with English.

Thank you for showing us your movie!

Please, don't mind.

I understood the mysteryous word "Kaoshiruabushibusu" is realy
"Council of Thieves".
In Japan, it called "Touzoku Kaigi".
So I can't understand the word.

I was convincing, and refreshing.
Please give my best regards to the girlfriend.

Thank you.

At last, I understood the word of the mystery.
The word is "kaonshiruabushibusu".
Actually, it is "Council of Thieves".

I was able to understand, and was very refreshing.

And, the comment was able to be understood too.
Thank you for enjoying movie.

I am really looking forward to what happens when Rizel starts flirting with the blonde cavalier and the wizard lol.

For the deleted post, I replied above--if you have that problem on future posts where everything appears as a quote, you can use EDIT and add an extra {/QUOTE} (using [] instead of {}) after the quoted part and before the new post.

Ah I made a mistake.

Thank you for advice.

Ah yes, Griffin Island, my old Gm played that with me and an old group when it first came out, was it really that long ago haha?
My character Was an Nomad Assistant Shaman, and the only one who remained of the original characters by the end of the adventure.
I liked it so much I even bought the box myself on an auction a few years back, it collects dust on my bookshelf now.

Thanks for taking me back There Anastasia, even if your campaign is probably going to be a bit different than mine was haha.

Cool

Those videos are amazing. Catgirl maid is a little over the top. Chick with pink eye should see a doctor.

I enjoyed the videos very much.

Orlin and Hilda are the best.

You go tell Orlin that I approve of his choice in music

Rizel is hilarious, but should have been a Rakshasa blooded tiefling, and what's with the SEVEN CHA, guess she puts people off with her speech

(played by a male?)

AWESOME!

His music is Home made KAZOKU's "Syounen Heart".

It is a theme song of the animation "Eureka Seven".
My favorite.

Two things, first I must say the video was great, I enjoyed it and am planning on sharing the link with my entire gaming group I think they will get a kick out of it as well.

Second I knew I recognized that music, not only does Orlin have good taste in music he has good taste in anime. I don't watch much anime but Eureka Seven really pulled me in, it was a great story.

Mostly I just wanted to thank you for sharing your hard work with us and I can't wait to see the first session.

Hahaha! The cat-girl perv has cha7 :D

That is pretty awesome. A character who is all freaky, makes everyone feel uncomfortable and defies norms and social taboos. Yeah, I can really see how that kind of behavior reflects as poor charisma, no matter how sexy she might be.

Cavalier has way too low to-hit by the way. Str18, bab3, mw, Weapon focus leads me to a total of +9 to hit, not +5.

This movie once again reminds me of one of the best NPCs in Paizo AP's, like, ever: Laori Vaus !

Hilda has a really interesting backstory. Plenty of potential for a good storyline.

Thanks for sharing the video!

Second movie isn't as nearly as funny as the first one. :/

I made the first movie choose interesting scenes from six animations. Therefore, there is your not having felt it so in the mystery.

thanks your comment.

Don't worry about it though, it wasn't 'as funny' but that's because it was more serious and down to business. It was the introductions to the characters, after all.

Just have fun with it, and I'm sure we'll be happy with how it turns out :)

Good band. I first heard them while watching "Bleach".

Well, I certainly give Rizel full marks for creating an original character, quite entertaining.
Orlin also get good marks since I've play a lot of characters like that myself and can relate.
The rest are also quite well done, good work.

Chapter1:Part2-02

The adventure started more and more actually.

see moive and comment here.

Which character do you like?

The music of this movie made instrumental a rathermuch.
Is the vocal tune better?

The speed of the serif was made slow. Should it be fast a little more?

Thanks.

Ok the acid trip is back, I knew Rizel was going to be a trip.

Anastasia - Yeah I think you could speed the text up a little, but not to much.

Rizel is so funny (and innocently pervert XD ) that the comparison with the other characters is almost unfair (although they are good characters too).

At least Narvi was lucky ( :D !) to be found by her and not by someone else !

Ah, and another character that I like particularily is 'lazy' Orlin... it reminds me of Shikamaru Nara from Naruto, I almost expected him to say occasionaly 'mendokuse' !...

I like the party interactions so far. Rizel being naked while walking to the hold looking for fish was funny. Three times?!
I like how Hilda asks if she was a prostitute.
Good story so far.

I like Hilda and Larvi, they are so serious ^^

And Orlin introducing himself "Orlin..... Universalist Wizard."

'Then Rizel discovers Larvi, who has "become small" by the shadow of the barrel'...

I get the feeling that's a translation issue, but man is it hilarious. I can just imagine Rizel's feelings if she had thought he was 'made small' by her lol.

Edit: Wow, that whole scene was full of win and awesome :)

Larvi is realy lucky boy. *simle*

Orlin was said, "Mendokuse" in an actual session. Is it good if it does very to say this in English?
