So I was ordering shirts for some of my local players and I noticed that the larger sizes for many of the Factions are out-of-stock. I inquired about this and got this reply from Vic.

My take is that it would be unwise to reprint the faction shirts as they are. It has taken two years to sell through what we have (and that's great: we covered costs and made a little profit), but it's safe to say that right now, we've already served most of the demand for these designs. Even with Pathfinder Society growing as it is, I'm confident that a reprint of similar size would take much longer than two years to sell through, as very few owners of the current design would potentially buy the reprint. And printing shirts that will mostly sit around in the warehouse for a few years is just not a great use of the Pathfinder Society budget.
If we decide to do more faction shirts, I'd much rather offer new designs so that owners of the current shirts will consider buying them as well.
So just FYI, you might want to grab some while they last because there's no telling when they'll be available again. In a few years when PFS is five times the size it was at GenCon 2010 you might be wearing a collector's item.

Thanks for sharing. Looks like everything up to size Large is still available. But also intriguing that Andorans seems to sell out first. But what are the Chelaxians doing - they are hot on the heels of Andorans ...
Just no love for the Taldorans ... They haven't noticed - but they really are in decline ...
So I might have to buy a Cheliax T-Shirt in time (spits out). I just had this great idea for this half-orc barbarian - he just wouldn't make it as an Andoran ...

Just FYI, I edited the thread subject to state that "Faction Shirt Stocks are Dwindling" but it's not sticking when I save.
Have you tried tape or clue?..;)

Just FYI, I edited the thread subject to state that "Faction Shirt Stocks are Dwindling" but it's not sticking when I save. I thought that stating the shirts would not be reprinted was misleading and wanted to clarify.
Sometimes old versions of subject headers survive in the cache a little longer than we'd like, but they eventually sort themselves out.

Yellow and orange happen to be my favorite colors. Osirion was my first shirt and is still my favorite. The scarab looks cool. I think both Andoran and Taldor would be closer to the kingdom's colors with a royal blue shirt and yellow/gold insignia. But two shirts of the same color wouldn't be a good marketing decision. Since gray was used for Andoran, blue should have been used for Taldor, IMHO.

I happen to like the current t-shirts. While the collors do not reflect the actual heraldry of the campaign, they do differentiate the t-shirts from one another.
The real weakness I think is that they are very wide and baggy.
Personally I would appreciaty a more close fit design and a lighter fabric.
If a new design incorporated more features of the campaings heraldry I would like that too, though.
What I really am eager for are factionless Pathfinder Society t-shirts. If Paizo does not make them I will probably have to have them made my self.

I suspect the free re-roll gimick sells more shirts than anything else.
I would be more likely to buy a generic PFS shirt than a faction specific one. The design on the current faction shirts is kind of blah IMO.

+1...Personally, I'd like a shirt with the PFS logo small on the left breast and all five faction symbols on the back in a circular pattern (the points of a pentagon) with the society symbol slightly larger in the center. Of course, I can see everyone gripping about which faction was in the highest position vs. the one/s closest to the bottom having some meaning.

Why would anyone gripe about Taldor being on top where it belongs?

I made Pathfinder Society t-shirts with the PFS logo on the left breast and the words "Explore, Report, Cooperate" on the back to wear to conventions and to draw attention to Pathfinder Society Organized Play a few years back. They looked so good, people asked me where I bought it! had to tell them, "Sorry, this is a one of a kind!"

Because of the difficulty in judging demand for specific sizes or colors, some consideration should be given to using something like Cafe Press to sell things like t-shirts, mugs, etc...

One of the main concerns with print on demand shirts is that we can't oversee quality or customer service of things produced by another company. One of the many benefits we offer customers is the ability to combine shipping of products with monthly subscriptions, and we'd be unable to do that with something outsourced to another company from start to finish.
