*groans @ Philip's dad joke*

I'm glad V reminds us that bards aren't the only ones known for dramatic pauses.

Serini has a Trapper for a friend. Does that mean she is a Trapper Keeper?

Naaah...she's a rogue, not a binder.

I'm glad O'Chul gives out rescue ratings.

The predictable plot would be that the OotS keeps fighting with Serini, but talking the entire time, until they convince her to cooperate. Possibly by revealing what was decided at the Godsmoot.

But the author is often pretty good at throwing in an unexpected (at least to me) twist that results in a different outcome, and I'm trying to imagine what twist would even work here. Maybe if they are forced to kill or banish/trap Serini...

Maybe Xykon shows up and she realizes it was more old age that kill them?

This is why PF mounts are better I think. Also is anyone else bothered by having an amnesiac shark?

It looks like Razor is too big for the cauldron. We'll see if the potion works by contact, I guess.

I am just concerned this might lead to spillage hijinks.

It's a celestial shark. Eat thing. Listen to paladin. is the only thing in its head anyway, and I think it comes with that pre installed.

Unless it forgets the Paladin.

Off-topic question for you--in SCA, what household are you in?

Well I feel good for Sunny but I guess Serini still doesn't get the actual stakes. I mean maybe now they'll convince her that Xykon's attack might not be the worst thing...

Roy must not have ranks in Craft (Alchemy) to go with Knowledge (Architecture and Engineering).

Too close to being like his father, that.

It's okay Roy. No one would ever mistake you for a biologist...

I was going back over some of the very early strips, and found something that was a joke at the time but turned out to be foreshadowing. Check out 32: Biting the Hand that Feeds Me.

It happens.

Liberty's Edge

Being charmed happens way too often. Especially to those best of us who dumped WIS.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Yep. But then again if we didn't have someone dump stat on Wis, then the enchanters wouldn't have a job.

Changed Circumstances

"Bonkers argument." Nice setup.

It is a bonkers argument. Also I think Serini is over estimating her abilities to fight an organized group.

Liberty's Edge

Well, she is right that, if left undisturbed, the lich team will not destroy the last gate.

No they still might fk it up...or someone else might.

1255: And Poorly Lit Signs

Liberty's Edge

Did they find a path ? ;-)

Considering this makes the road to Hell look like a walk through the park, I'm not sure this is the best path for these guys to try...but eh.

Silver Crusade

Eye to Eye

And once again, O-Chul is the perfect paladin.

Radiant Oath

I usually don't like halflings, but Belkar and the old lady are some of my favorites.

No one with good in their alignment can resist the awesome power of eleven* puppy-dog eyes!

*Thirteen, if you count Elan.
