I was hoping we could brainstorm 101+ fortunes and omens for such characters as diviners, oracles, and witches to use within the game.
Put down anything you like, but please keep them vague (like a fortune cookie) so they are more likely to be relevant/come true.
I'll start:
1. A secret admirer will soon send you a sign of affection.
2. Beware the red flower for it is a portent of coming doom.
5. If you attack, there will be a great defeat.
6. In the east, a mighty hero will rise, only to be defeated by enemies.
7. Hesitation allows opportunity to escape.
8. After a great exhaustion, another challenge awaits.
9. In your future I see a prediction.
10. Soon there will be a great beast for you to slay. Its greater masters, you'll have to obey.
11. You'll soon meet a fortune teller.
12. Beware of dogs, and cats, too.
13. Everything that can go wrong...
14. There is much to learn in your next great adventure.
15. For every prediction, there is an outcome.
