Catman, are there any general appearance characteristics for your Death Elves?
appearance: gaunt and very skinny
hair color ranges form gray to bone white.
eye color are the same as regular elf's but muted
basic outlooks: there are 2
1) we should strive to repair the rift, and restore balance to nature (older)
2) This is our new home we should adapt to it.

Anthius is pretty much ready, but I have few final questions.
1)Are you allowing feats from Heroes of Horror and Libris Mortis? I'm assuming so since those are the sorces for the class and tomb-tainted soul.
2)What is the Dread Necromancer's starting gold? I assumed the same as a Wizard/Sorcerer.
3)I have 3 language slots to fill yet, what would be good choices for this game?

And, not knowing how we are meeting, but I'm open to traveling with one of the others prior to the beginning of the adventure.

He might end up with the Turtle school yet, still can't shake the idea that a tank might be the better choice.
One way or another, I think he's likely to be using a shield bash for one of his weapons.

Darvin has changed, after all, to an acolyte of the School of the Turtle, still very much a two-weapon fighter, but with a concentration on defense. To that end, his training has been toward becoming a personal bodyguard.
At this point in his career, he might be assigned to guarding one of the other characters or, if no one is interested in that possible relationship, he's just traveling to gain experience before he returns to his studies.
I should have his avatar done before too long -- he's built already in a character generator, I just need to put it into an avatar the way I like it. As modified per the wishes of the DM, of course.

Darvin's done and his profile started, but only about half of it is his information (copying the format from another character, so her data is still in place). Feel free to begin any time, I'll get him up to speed pretty quickly. I just don't want to be the cause for a delay.
That's a good question....we'd have to know a bit more about the world to answer that question in any detail.

The fighter's intended profession is bodyguard. Perhaps he's been commissioned to protect one of the others or even the group in general as best he can.
Anthius has contracted Darvin (and Jezabel too, unless she has another reason to be there) to be his guard for a trip to city "X" to investigate a rumor concerning the cause of why Death Elves are the way we are. (Nox is certainly welcome to be part of this too if he so chooses).
So all in all, the farming community is not necessarily Anthius's final destination, but could be passing through as a reason to be there at the beginning of the game.
I'm certainly open to other options, just throwing one out there.

Hmm... OK, changed to 1d4. Light Shield does 1d3, so where did I miss the up-bump in damage?

Again, without knowing more, it's hard to say....How about you just call the the thread something like "Catman's Homebrew" and we'll go from there.

Is this a homebrew modification to the feat? Per core, the feat just lets me retain the shield's bonus to my AC when using it for a shield bash. No mention of the increased damage die. I know if I get spikes on it, that increases the damage die, but I didn't go there yet. Maybe that's what you are thinking of?

OK, for obvious reasons, I was hoping I was wrong. I'll correct it.
Or you could gain proficiency with the Madu (d4 dmg, exotic.) is on d20pfsrd if you wanna use it.
I'll stick with what I've got at the moment, thanks. He'll eventually move up to a heavy shield, most likely, if he survives long enough.
