What is a do-maru set of armor made from? Metal? Leather? Ultimate Equipment isn't exactly clear on the subject...It's a real thing from the real world. Head over to Wikipedia and search for "do-maru" for the scoop. Or just click.Okay...from what it says the answer's essentially "Both."
So if you wanna make one using special materials, do you make it out of special metals (like mithral) or special leathers (like darkleaf cloth), since it obviously can't be made out of both?
Also on an unrelated note: what fiends would a House Thrune-aligned Blackfire Adept make pacts with besides the obvious devils? Asuras, even though they seem more Vudran? Kytons, whose schtick was that they were too much even for Hell to contain? I suspect that, while there's no Blood War, House Thrune would probably frown on one of their agents using demons or daemons to do their dirty work...
Work with your GM to pick one of the two, I guess.
A House Thrune aligned Blackfire Adept would rarely if ever traffic with non-devils. If they HAD to... they'd use lawful evil ones.

So uh, is it just me, or is it really disturbing to have sapient monsters in zoo or arena fights in pathfinder?
Like, in Murder's Mark, I think there is Manticore in freak show that doesn't seem to be particularly happy about that and comic bonus stuff for Serpent's Run has Gray Render(okay they have int 3, but that was still above animal intelligence iirc and they have language they understand) among possible monster fights.
So umm, what is general population's opinion on such stuff? <_< Does it depend on whether population is good or neutral?
It's not just you. There's also arena fights involving humans all over the place in Golarion, so intelligent monsters being made to fight each other is hardly a stretch. The general population's opinion on this varies, but for the most part, a lot of commonfolk don't realize that manticores and the like are intelligent, or if they do, see them as monsters who get what they deserve (and in many of those cases, they're right).

What is Cevil "Redwing" Charms' book Eidolon about? I'm getting close to starting up the final chapter of Rise of the Runelords, and the book gets mentioned in it. I suspect it's a gazetteer about Varisia written by that Pathfinder after his travels across it, but the only references I've found to it are in the original Runelords Player's Guide, and the intro to Spires of Xin-Shalast. I also suspect it goes into Thassilonian ruins that he explored during his travels to some length, which would explain why Brodert Quink has a copy.

Why do linnorms keep treasure piles? The "linnorm" preamble from B3 colors them as being most interested in eating and wanton destruction, but it also definitely also has them keeping treasure hordes.
Because treasure pile keeping is kind of one of the themes for dragons, regardless of their type. You can still be interested in eating and destruction and keep a pile of loot at home.

1) Water, because I grew up on the Pacific Coast and love the ocean and rain.

If a succubus lured someone willingly into an "act of passion" that takes longer than one round how often would her energy drain trigger? Would it be once per round or would it only be once because allthough lasting several round it's technically only one "act of passion"
Once per act of passion. Could be as often as once per round if the succubus is extra frisky.

So players' have finally reached, defeated, interrogated and jailed Justice Ironbriar(next time they should be starting at Lord-Mayor's dinner/Shadow Clock) and I noticed that its mentioned that Ironbriar's evidence has enough evidence to put him to gallows instead of being sentenced to Hells. I'm assuming that his treason is him using his role as a judge to aid in hiding Skisnaw Cult's tracks since just being a murderer isn't enough to get a death sentence in Magnimar? Or did he do anything else treasonous to warrant death penalty?
Also, due to hijinxs, they have essentially Erylium in a "jar". So she might actually make it alive to Scribbler after all, though not in position to replace Scribbler for that adventure. Out of curisioty, if she ever gets free and manages to become stronger demon, what demon she would likely turn into? Assuming I don't remember incorrectly that more powerful quasits try to do that "transform promotion" thing

Mr. Jacobs, are there currently any plans to revisit the NSCs from Sandpoint in a future AP? After RotR and Jade Regent my group has grown very attached to them and would like to meet the again.

Have you thought of reaching out to the Duffer Brothers to Pathfinder-inspire them for Season 2? :)Wouldn't make sense. The show's set decades before Pathfinder.
...but 1921 was decades before Pathfinder too! ;)
Chronology is not that important - but the feel and themes offered by the Pathfinder line is much more in line with that show than D&D... :)
It's probable they'll build on Season 1 with the same actors (they speak of a 'sequel' online, shying away from a "Season 2" concept), but it's not entirely out of the question they'd do something along the same theme but set in a different time period and with new actors altogether (a-la-True Detective)
But this is about you, not my own selfish *wants*: How likely would it be for you to approach the TV or movie industry with proposals such as these? Is this something you'd like to do?

3) They're not. We just haven't spent the time and resources and energy to invent more yet. Mostly because most of us here at Paizo who are involved with monster stats tend to get more passionate about other types of outsiders. We've done several more proteans in Hell's Rebels though. Not sure we'll do much more with inevitables though, sine we can only use them due to the SRD and spending time adding flavor to something WotC owns appeals to me MUCH less than spending the same time adding flavor to something we own (like proteans) or that is based on actual mythology (like demons).
More protean flavor is always the best option (says the protean obsessed freelancer making fluttery eyelash motions). :)

What level of "interaction" would you require for a player in your game to get a save vs an illusion spell, say Silent Image? What about a more advanced illusion like Mirage Arcana?

I hope not. They're monsters, not people. They work better as antagonists; the more they get in the roles of heroes/PCs the less interesting they become. Their power level has nothing to do with it.

The fact that he's supposedly a judge but in fact was not only a murderer but a murder-cult leader is what ramps his crimes up enough to warrant hanging.
I think that it's more interesting if Erylium DOESN'T turn into a stronger demon, but simply gains more class levels. That said, if she DOES manage to get her hands on her previous master's soul... she'd hightail it back to the Abyss to try to arrange such a transformation. What demon she turns into would depend greatly on the type of sin she wallowed in the most to that point in your game... but her proximity to all that wrathful energy suggests she'd become a vrock.

NSCs? Not sure what that's an abbreviation for. If you meant NPCs... then yes. I do want to do more with Sandpoint at some time in the future, but I'm not sure when that future will arrive. I suspect that if there IS more Sandpoint to come, it'll take place between Runelords and Jade Regent though.

And in fact, I feel that the themes and feel of D&D was SPOT ON in the show. Pathfinder is VERY MUCH inspired by that era of Dungeons & Dragons, and hearing that you think those themes carry over is a huge compliment; thanks! Means we've captured the magic of early 80s D&D! Yay!
It would be very very very unlikely for me to approach the TV/movie industry with proposals like this and it's not something I'd be good at. Fortunately for all of us, there's other folks at Paizo who are and do—check out HarmonQuest for proof.

I'd play it entirely by ear, based entirely on the situation, the believability of the illusion, the PC's actions, and so on. Generally, as soon as the illusion tricks a person into reacting a way that they wouldn't otherwise, that's interaction and triggers a save.

I very much prefer cold weather. That was one of the major reasons I decided to move from central California up here to Seattle after graduating from UC Davis. I am not a huge fan of snow when I have to go places, but if I'm at home and don't have to go places I quite love snow. I think I would enjoy living in the wilds of Alaska or Canada, provided I never had to leave home!

Oh! That's a completely different thing entirely. The whole point of "Stranger Things" is that it was neck deep in the 80s culture, and D&D was a HUGE part of that. Inserting Pathfinder into that show would be inappropriate and off-putting.
And we've got about 55 years before we have to worry about Golarion existing in the same time when D&D is being invented over on Earth in-world. If I'm still alive in that time, and still able to think by that time, and if Pathfinder is even still a thing... I'm still pretty sure I won't be the one who has to figure that out.

If you ever retire in Canada, make sure you don't select the greater Toronto area, as it is neither wild nor cold... biggest shock I've ever had when I moved here (hottest place I know between May and September... the humidity from the Great Lakes makes it really unbearable)
Vancouver Island (Victoria) is nice year round but just mild rain in the winter i.e. no snow, and anywhere north of Quebec City has nice fresh summer nights that are too cold for some (and lots of snow in winter)

Full disclosure: I would not advise retiring here. Our climate is all to the good, but by what I've gleaned of your tastes, values, and interests, you would find our state's culture a bit trying (although we ARE good at leaving people alone). Do come visit sometime, though. I recommend May- mosquitoes haven't hatched yet, still some snow to keep the tourist swarms controllable, and the locals are starting to smile again after the winter darkness has cleared up.

1) Do you think that numbers and mathematics have a real existence of their own, or do they only have meaning inasmuch as they are used to calculate real things?
2) Do you think that there is an objective good, or is it always subjective?
3) If you could transform into any single vehicle that exists or has existed on Earth, being able to 'drive' or 'pilot' yourself and not needing any special fuel, able to get by based on what you had eaten in your human form, any damage done to it reflected on your normal body and vice versa, and of course, able to transform back into yourself at will, what vehicle would you pick, and what would you do with this ability?
1) Nothing has a real existence on their own considering "existence" depends on the nature of the observer. Numbers and math included.
2) It's always subjective.
3) Submarine, and I'd go hunting for sea monsters.

If I were to retire to Alaska, it would not be to join a society but to flee from it. AKA I would become one of those weird mountain men who only comes to town once a year to buy 50 pounds of coffee.
As for encountering Alaskan megafauna? They're all kinda scary given the right (or wrong) circumstances, but I suppose the Alaskan animal I'd most like to see would be a sperm whale or blue whale (I've seen both spout PLENTY of times off the California coast, but have never actually seen one in the flesh).

Inner Sea Gods, and Inner Sea Faiths are two of the best RPG books I've ever read, and I'm not even done with ISF(On Hanspur). So thank you for your role, however big or small, in creating a pair of my favorite books!!
I see that you're also working on Paths of the Righteous, which in my opinion is awesome, and has me really excited for it. If its even half as good as the above books, it will be a cherished, favorite as well.

And absolutely I would LOVE to see more prestige class books in the Player Companion line. Something like Paths of the Green (prestige classes associated with nature deities, the Green Faith, the Eldest, and the like); or Paths of the Wicked (prestige classes for evil faiths); or Paths of the Crusader (prestige classes based on war faiths or mercenary groups or national armies); or Paths of the Forgotten (prestige classes based on obscure organizations and forgotten faiths); or Paths of the Hidden (prestige classes based on secret societies) or so on. I'd love to see it expand beyond just being themed to religions, but there's hundreds of other faiths that can each still support their own prestige classes for sure.
As for a book like Inner Sea Faiths expanding out into other realms... that's less likely, since despite a vocal minority on these boards, our numbers show us that when we travel too far from the familiar, sales dip. It's more likely that you'll see us continue to periodically include stuff beyond the Inner Sea in books but not devote entire books to regions beyond—like how there's information about the Crown of the World or Shenmen in the upcoming "Horror Realms," or how the upcoming Qadira book touches upon Kelesh and Casmaron.

Anyway, as the texts seem to state that a do-maru is primarily leather with metal for the vital parts, does that mean making it with Mithral wouldn't be a good idea, as there isn't enough metal components to make a noticeable difference in weight?

What's your favorite Ray Harryhausen movie, if you have one? They were the treasures of my childhood, watched one of them every week. Mine was Jason and the Argonauts, curiously enough.

And absolutely I would LOVE to see more prestige class books in the Player Companion line. Something like Paths of the Green (prestige classes associated with nature deities, the Green Faith, the Eldest, and the like); or Paths of the Wicked (prestige classes for evil faiths); or Paths of the Crusader (prestige classes based on war faiths or mercenary groups or national armies); or Paths of the Forgotten (prestige classes based on obscure organizations and forgotten faiths); or Paths of the Hidden (prestige classes based on secret societies) or so on. I'd love to see it expand beyond just being themed to religions, but there's hundreds of other faiths that can each still support their own prestige classes for sure.
If you did add these books to the schedule, are there any lovely and talented freelancers you'd ask to write for them? ;)

It's more likely that you'll see us continue to periodically include stuff beyond the Inner Sea in books but not devote entire books to regions beyond—like how there's information about the Crown of the World or Shenmen in the upcoming "Horror Realms," or how the upcoming Qadira book touches upon Kelesh and Casmaron.
My excitement for Horror Realms has officially doubled. ^_^

James, I have a few more questions:
Are rangers that worship a deity bound to the same alignment restrictions as clerics? Or could I have, say, a CG ranger of Erastil?
And how common are non-casters that worship deities that don't match their alignments, like a LN fighter that worships Gorum?
