Meh. He's a little lacking in the forehead department. I don't think it suits you.

I should find a new one, I agree.

Of course, the reason I like Valeros has more to do with his swordsmanship than anything else.

Is that what the kids are calling it these days?

Hmm. The boards are acting up and won't let me create a new thread.

I dunno, Lyn. I think I'd have to be unconscious before they could use that s%@* again.
Meh. I have this thing about breathing. I likes it. Epinephrine isn't too much worse than the reaction I have to albuterol on those occasions when I've taken it too fast. And since I'm the one who has to give myself the shot if I have a problem on account of all the folks around me having needle phobias, it's probably a good thing I don't have any hangups about it.
It's the convulsions and preparing to die that bothers me.

Those are usually part of why I would had to get out the epi pen. Hard to tell the difference between the medicine and the anaphylaxis. :)

Okay folks. It's time for this DM to grab some shuteye before the second shift. Tomorrow's going to be a killer- I have a shift from 6 to midnight preceded by an internet shift from 3 to 5. Here's hoping I don't go crazy as a result...

Hey, you're back.

I posted a couple of days ago -- If memory serves me right (and it may not) you have fibromialgia (sp?)? My wife suffers from it. We had heard through the grapevine (via doctors/friends/etc.) that Vitamin D may help with that quite a bit. We figured -- it can't be any worse than anything else we've tried. And I can tell that it really has made a difference with my wife. After a few weeks of taking it regularly, she is doing much better. I'm not saying that it's a cure, but it may be worth your time to check it out.

Hope you're doing well.

I am back and I am doing very well, thank you for asking. The new house seems to have awakened within me more energy than I knew I had. I still have some moments where the pain is bad, but my flares have been less common lately.

I am intrigued by the vitamin D and I think I will look into that. Thank you for the suggestion. As you said, it can't worse than anything else I have tried. I am willing to give it a shot and see how it works.

Not a problem. I posted about it a few days ago with a little more information, but you weren't around. (And I got you and CJ confused.)

So, the Puffin and I have been eating at this new restaurant down the street, Llywelyn's. Their menu is souped-up British cuisine and it all sounds soooo good. It's pricey for pot roast and shepherd's pie, but we though we'd try it.

So the first try I get Cornish Pasties and he gets a steak sandwich. Mine is flat, tasteless, and greasy. His is awesome! I get it the next time and am pretty happy.

This week, I got adventurous again and ordered shepherd's pie. Can't wreck that, right? As I ate, my thoughts were, "You know, I could take this home, add some more beef, add corn instead of this dry cornbread, pour some gravy on it, and it won't be too bad." Then it hit -- they are just a garlic mashed potato supplier.

Brought the leftovers today and soaked them in canned chicken gravy. It's edible. Of course, StudPuffin's potroast was amazing!

I always get the wrong thing.

If we are gonna get funky!:

Yeah, There was a funky singer Playin' in a rock & Roll Band
And never had no problems yeah Burnin' down one night stands
And everything around me, yeah
Got to stop to feelin' so low And I decided quickly, Yes I did
To disco down and check out the show Yeah they was

Dancin' and singin' and movin' to the groovin'
And just when it hit me somebody turned around and shouted
Play that funky music white boy
Play that funky music right
Play that funky music white boy
Lay down that boogie and play that funky music till you die
Till you die , oh till you die

Spoken ( Gonna play that electrified funky music ,, yeah )

--- Guitar Solo ---

Spoken: Hey wait a minute Now first it wasn't easy
Changin' Rock & Roll and minds And things were getting shaky
I thought I'd have to leave it behind
But now its so much better ( spoken: its so much better )
I'm funking out in every way
But I'll never lose that feelin' ( spoken: no I won't)
Of how I learned my lesson that day

When they were.....
Dancin' and singin' and movin' to the groovin'
And just when it hit me somebody turned around and shouted
Play that funky music white boy
Play that funky music right
Play that funky music white boy
Lay down that boogie and play that funky music till you die
Till you die , oh till you die

They shouted play that funky music
Play that funky music
Play that funky music
Gotta keep on playin' funky music
Play that funky music ( Fade )
