Cole motions to the rest of the group, "This looks like a good place to camp."
Cole munches on some of his own rations, and lays out his bedroll, and whispers to the others, "Don't do anything stupid during the night. Jirah knows more than she lets on and if she is asleep now, I'll eat my armor."

WHile the image of Cole trying to actually eat his armor does bring a smile to Des' face, he takes the mans' words to heart and only set his sleeping gear near Jirah. Nothing that would be misconstrued as anything but setting up camp.
"I shall be happy to take the middle watch." He points out with a whisper before doffing his boots and getting comfortable in his sleeping roll.
Raff helps with setting up camp then tries to engage Jirah in more training exercises. "What more can you show me?"
Mash sets up his bedroll on the rocky floor. He gets in, and immediately snores like an angry dragon.
Luthien creeps curiously around the campsite, trying to see what these newcomers were doing in her forest, her leopard Kieyanna staying back a ways.

Raff moves over to Cole and nudges him with his foot while keeping an eye on the lurker. Once Raff figures Cole is awoke he'll call out to the stranger.
"You know it's impolite to stare. In some circles it's enough cause for a fight. If there's something you want come out with it or be off with you."
As he speaks, Raff moves to the next closest sleeping group member to nudge them as well.
Cole wakes instantly on feeling his brothers touch, nd rolls to his feet, however due to the darkness, he cannot see the figure. "Who are you," he calls out, drawing his sword, while casting a swift incantation on his shield.
Cole looks over at Jirah, nonplussed by her statement. If this is the guardian of the forest, then how come she didn't do anything about the bandits?
He sheathes his sword, but keeps his hand close to the hilt, and indicates for everyone else to sheath their weapons as well. He then slowly approaches her. "We have no quarrel with you, or your forest land, and we have no ill intent towards your charges. We are merely travelers passing through."
Mash scratches his belly, then turns to his side. He is out like a quenched flame.
Desvartes also remains asleep. Obviously saving his strength for his approaching time on watch.

Luthien approaches, eyeing the strangers carefully. "Fighting won't be necessary."

Cole relaxes somewhat but still keeps his hand near his weapon. "We appreciate that. My name is Cole, and as you can tell, I am a priest of Iomedae. I am escorting our group here to Haven, and if you are aware of any dangers on the road between here and Haven, the information is appreciated."
As he awaits an answer from the surprising quiet druid, She must be awed by my charismatic personality, not to mention my stunningly good looks, he he, he almost his head on a tree branch, but not quite.
Luthien gives the travelers a lazy smile walking cautiously towards them. No way they could be threatened of her? She laughed at the thought. So many questions swirled in her mind of these people but she wasn't about to start a conversation.
Kieyanna follows close behind.
Cole studies the new arrival trying to get a sense of her intentions. He notes her attractive elvish features, although he can also see the human blood in her. Definitely not a drow. Man, I need to get out more. He looks over at Jirah, and the others, and wonders whether this newcomer could be trusted. He knew little of druids, save they were very useful in their home territory.
If we could make it out of this forest, we can maybe get some answers, and this one will certainly make it easier.
"We would ask a boon of you, to escort us through your homeland forests, and to Haven. Can you guide us?"
Joining them might be fun, I havn't been on an adventure for ages. Leading some travelers to Haven is the closest I can get but they may be dangerous.

Kieyanna leaves Luthiens side to inspect the other travelrs who seem to be fast asleep.
Typical elvish response. Cole maintains a grip of his temper, and asks again, "OK, will you guide us to Haven?"
Luthien looks at Cole, a smile playing on her lips.
"Why do you need to go to Haven anyways?" she shrugs ushering Kieyanna back to her side. It was fun messing with these travelers but maybe I should befriend them instead of tease them. They wont let me join them if they hate me.
"We...ahh...are delivering a package for her." He indicates Jirah.
Feeling rather friendly towards them Luthien nodded and asked "Are you ready to go right now?" Her eyes searched for the package wondering what the chances where that it contained some thing dangerous.
Cole nods to his sleeping companions, "Not yet, once i offer my daily prayers at dawn, we will be ready to depart, but I want the others to get some rest."
So he's a good guy.I suppose I could trust him.
"Are you the head of this group?" Luthien asks sitting on the groud with Kieyanna resting her head on Luthien's lap.
Cole nods at her, "Yeah, I guess I'm the leader of this group." At least for now, until Jirah decides I am no longer useful.
"He is as close as we get in any case." Raff quips.
"Yeah, I had better get my rest, as I think my watch is up now." Cole waves good night to the ladies, and mutters to Raff, "Hopefully, this will go well."
As all of the commotion ends, a little bit of gas escapes the half-orc as he adjusts to his side, still sound asleep.
"The road from this point to the outskirts of the coastal town of Haven is about five days long, if you travel at a strong pace. The forest quickly becomes more primeval, until you're about two days from Haven, where the trees become lighter again. A strong river is about a day's travel from the campsite, where it flows down a rather steep gorge. At most a day's travel from that is a nest of dangerous spiders which it should be able to avoid, and a day from that is a line of ancient barrows sometimes guarded by fey. I'm sure you can easily avoid rousing the tombs' guardians, I've done it before."
Luthien says to Jirah while stroking Kieyanna keeping her voice low as to not wake any one.
Raff listens to Luthien's description of what lies ahead. He does eventually fall to sleep even though he tries his best to emulate Jirah's seeming lack of need for sleep.
Luthien finds herself awake next to Kieyanna who is still fast asleep.
Blinking the sleep from her eyes she looks around to see if anyone else is awake.
Cole rises with the dawn, as is his wont, still feeling a bit groggy, and rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. He sets himself down and offers his daily prayers to Iomedae, all the while trying to fight his rising doubts. He notices the elvish druid is awake, yet he hesitates to approach her for some reason. Must be because I'm getting shy, I guess.
Noticing Cole but not wanting to leave the warmth of Kieyanna, Luthien smiles warmly "good morning!" she called out to him.
Cole walks over to Luthien, not getting too close, and becoming breakfast for Kieyanna, and returns her smile, somewhat tiredly. "Good morning, Luthien. I trust you...ahh...slept well?"
Luthien nods absentmindedly. "And you?"
Finding Kieyanna fast asleep on her lap she rolls her eyes finding herself trapped under her. Not wanting to look like a moron she doesn't move.
