Gripping Them Monkeys

Rules Questions

A quick search and Google search did not give required results - or at least my search-fu did not reveal anything recent and noteworthy.

I could not find Monkey Grip feat from the Core book. Is this now incorporated as some kind of new and funky rule (as I found some text regarding wielding bigger weapons from the book) or is it gone for good?

Thanks, meightes!

Sovereign Court

Monkey Grip was in the Complete Warrior or Adventurer in 3.5. It wasn't a core OGL feat and as thus Paizo has no access to it.

I would make the educated guess that paizo does not want Monkey Grip or anything like it in its feat selection. Considering that they feel that reach weapons which also can attack adjacent squares are too powerful (such as the spiked chain), I would have to assume they feel the same way about a feat that allows a two-handed weapon to be wielded in one hand.

Exotic Weapon Proficiency: Bastard Sword for a character with martial weapon proficiency? Two-handed weapon wielding in one hand with a feat. One of their iconics (the barbarian) uses this to two-hand a large bastard sword.
