Good luck with you PBP! Lovely outfit for your character - I think the only thing I would find to accent is a necklace with a coin to match your description.

Should be easy enough, Canadian money has holes, doesn't it?

Don't they use seashells, and wooden beads?

No, no, no. Last time I went to Canada, we had to use hockey pucks, beaver pelts, and moose apples.

Once again Jen, allow me to express fear and concern for your safety due to having such a low armour class! ;p

No need to worry, the rules already have that "covered":

Unearthly Grace (Su) A nymph adds her Charisma modifier as a racial bonus on all her saving throws, and as a DDflection bonus to her Armor Class.

A more fitting rule I have not yet seen :p

Not pathfinder applicable though, so Jen Jen we await your full plate pics! :)

Full plate would have too high a chance of spell failure. For her, I highly recommend leather.

I believe ass-less chaps would be very beneficial for anyone with the Fey bloodline, given that they grant a +2 DC to spells with the [Moon] descriptor.

My good friend Joel Adams (yes, the son of THE Neil Adams that drew Batman!) drew this for me!
Its SPARTICA!
She will probabli be my next Pathfinder character!

SPARTICA

Any ideas on what her stats and skills and all that shuld be?

I cant help but be proud that even Neil used my pic to inspire his work
check it out on YouTube here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zsmCgV_ncjM

Liberty's Edge

Nice drawing. You should come up with a way to use those boots as weapons. I can't wait to see any/all of your other inspirations for character development!

Cool youtube vid as well.

She's obviously a warrior, but the question becomes what sort of fighting style do you see her having? What sort of background does she come from? Does she come from a long line of warriors? Was becoming a warrior something that was forced on her?

If you are looking for more of a thinking warrior, I would build a fighter with at least 13's in INT and DEX to get access to the combat expertise and dodge feat lines. Plus the higher INT will help make up for the low amount of skill points the fighter gets.

If you are looking for more of a bruiser type, I would go with at least one level of barbarian (for rage) and high numbers in STR and CON. With this build I would likely go with a lower INT and WIS.

Hope this helps.

Ahh Jen, I can now sleep at night knowing you have heeded my warning to wear some armour. A Chainmail Bikini is good enough to ensure you have some semblance of a useful AC :)

I'm pretty sure that Titus Pullo would start a war over a chance to hit that. ;)

As far as how to build your character, I'd focus on a character who makes up for being smaller and lighter by fighting faster and smarter. In your other thread, Lyingbastard mentioned a 3rd-party class they've published that actually makes good use of Charisma. Given your apparent playstyle in the PbP you're in, that could be a good fit.

If you have to stick with core classes, maybe you could pick one that allows you to use Charisma in some way. Maximus in Gladiator could have been considered a Paladin. A battle Cleric, Oracle of Battle, or even a Bard are also all possibilities for either a perceptive or intelligent, and charismatic combatant (though those options all involve much more spellcasting).

I sure do miss the fact that Rome ended after only two seasons. But I did like the alternative storyline that Pullo was the real father of Ptolemy XV (Caesarion).

Yeah, that was a pretty cool twist they pullo'd there — kinda like the reason Marc Antony was actually attacked on his way to the senate was because of Pullo's gambling habits. :D

I'm kind of eager for my current campaign to resume. I've got an over-sized hill giant NPC named "Skorp" that I've based off of Titus Pullo and named after the NPC from that Temple of Elemental Evil video game from a few years ago. It should prove quite interesting especially seeing as how he's not actually evil, just wrongly implicated by circumstance. (Damn, this guy has a lot of hit point, even with Smite Evil active he's not going down!)

Spoiler:
Recall the scene where Pullo rescues Erinyes (sp?) from the gold thieves? That sort of inspired a key encounter I've got planned out.

Basically Skorp is and over-sized hill giant champion who has had enough of the army and decided to retire and live in comfort by his own hand. He happens upon an adolescent cloud giant girl of noble birth who is being set-upon by a band of unruly hill giant mercenaries who were sent to track him down for deserting the army.

He easily dispatches all of the hill giant soldiers, and takes the girl so he can see to her injuries. Of course, someone in the government who has an agenda sees to it that the story is reported differently: "loose-cannon soldier killed his men and abducted the daughter of a cloud giant noble".

This gives said bad guy a chance to kill 3 birds with 1 stone:
* The party is likely to get killed trying to take out Skorp.
* Skorp should be softened-up enough for an assassin to finish him off.
* When the girl is "discovered" dead (see assassin) it will look like the party failed and likely be the final act needed to precipitate a war with their country.

When the party shows up to confront him, they see big, brutish Skorp, and a battered girl passed out on a bed. Knowing my crew, they'll jump to conclusions, piss him off (no Vorenus-equivalent around), and be in for one hell of a fight against a PC-spec'd hill giant with more than a few barbarian class-levels. The girl is something of a safeguard: she'll wake up just in time to prevent either a TPK, or the death of her savior so that a conspiracy in the government can be revealed when the assassin try to force the scenario they were told to engineer. >:D

So yeah, all hail Titus Pullo: Muse of Historical Plot Twists. ;)

Sheesh; now I want to play a Rolemaster game; sigh. That would be a doozy to pbp I bet.

Laithoron: Maybe Spartica could be a Paladin! :-)

But I also like Talomyr s idea of DEX and INT 2 have fighting more about speed and smarts!

Paladins and charisma go together like PB and J, he he.

I still think she'd be a natural for the "Showy" Gladiator, but I am hugely biased.

For anyone who doesnt follow the PBPs Jenny seems to be having a blast playing Nic..and is asking all the right questions.

Yeah, I am getting a kick out of her as well. Nice to see someone who wants items for their fashion sense as opposed to their magical abilities, he he.

Plus, she played...Rolemaster...that alone is enough to give her a bow, he he.

*Bows to Jenny

I've been following along as well. Everyone seems to be having a good time. I particularly like the interactions between Nik, Alexian, and Shuriken.

Speaking of fashion sense, I also spied a spoiler that notes that Jenny is having a Seoni outfit made. Hmm, I wonder who could be doing that...

*whistles innocently*

Will there be fitting sessions?

While that would be nice, sadly Montreal's a bit of a drive from Charlotte. Fortunately, a duct-tape dress form is en route.

The mind boggles..well have fun anyway Laith..and we'll look forward to seeing the finished product on the young Lady.

Thanks! It's gonna be a lot of work on a short schedule, but I'm excited about the opportunity and making good progress. :)
