Thanks Shadowborn!

It sucks that Boswic didn't make it into the print version though :(
I'd have to say that I'd have preferred my "Dances with the Mantis" story over my prestige class making the cut. I suppose the editors go for the variety and there were probably already better stories included . . . but I like my fiction :)

I can't wait for the PDF!

PDF available, please?

Been reading through here and it all some top notch. Great work everybody.

I don't suppose there's any chance of anyone involved with distribution heading to Origins on Wednesday, is there? Would save you postage if you didn't have to mail it to me. :D

Since the deadline was in March for Wayfinder #3, any idea when submissions for #4 will open up?

Or can you submit now?

Submissions will open up sometime after GenCon. I don't know when or what the theme will be, but that's what Lilith said at PaizoCon.

Liberty's Edge

patience patience, they just finished one.

Anyway since its already published in the Wayfinder, we from Pathfinder Chronicler in conjuction with Wayfinder Staff are organizing a Fiction Contest.

We are waiting just that the waters of Paizon calm themselves to give all the details. What i can tell you is the following:

-Wordcount around 1500-2000 words
-Amateur Writers
-Theme: Golarion & Pathfinder
-Submissions begin on 15th August
-Deadline 12th September
-We have invited someone of the Paizo Staff to be part of the Judges for this contest, but if someone else wants to join this we would be glad to have them aboard.

One detail.
New Fiction. Nothing already appearing in Wayfinder or Deviant Art, write something original please. You can use characters you have already used, but please not the same story. If they are characters owned by Paizo is ok to use them thanks to the Community Use Policy, if its someone else character, please get permision first.

There will be prizes for the first places, but i am in no liberty to mention them right now.
No there will be no inscription fee. This is to support Paizo's writting community.

Hope you join us in this.

amateur and pros, does not matter.

I'm working on the print version PDF for contributors for Liz to upload in Dropbow or somewhere else, for is a 10+ mb file.

The final PDF have to be redesigned because it will be larger (not too biggie an issue), So I have to put a some more hours in it and it will be ready next week around the weekend (hopefully sooner).

Thanks all for your effort and support!

Hugo or Liz,

Do you know when the contributor print copies might get mailed out?

Thanks! :)

Happily I was able to coordinate with the awesome Jeff Alvarez on getting Wayfinder #3 sent out from Paizo. I will post more details when I have them.

HUZZAH!

BTW: The Print version PDF is just a "preview" for contributors, for we do want all peoplez downloading the final PDF rather than the print-version PDF. That's why we do not send it over for Paizo to upload it here.

Next week? Ouch. Just how much extra stuff actually does have to be crammed in to this issue, anyway?

Its some 6 more articles, plus add the 4 extras maps/minis pages, plus make some art bigger, plus re-do the table of contents, plus the dayjob, plus the family, plus pending art commissions, plus... ;)

We are working as fast as we can, please bear with us a bit longer :)

Well, with that much work the delays are entirely understandable. Wow. Didn't realize everything went that far over your estimates.

Me neither. Maybe that was Lilith from the future posting.

Wow. I've only had a chance to skim, but it is beautiful. Excellent work, everyone.

And just think, the one for wide release is going to be even bigger.

I hadn't received one either. Just shoot Lilith an e-mail and she will hook you up! :)

Ooops, sorry guys, Liz send the link to her side of the emails (writers), I haven't get to do my own mailing to the artists and several donors... my apologies!

Will do it tonight around 9:00 pm central, stay sharp

Bwah-hah-hah-hah-hah! Channa Ti is back!
<happy dance>
Edit:
This one is so going to win an Ennie if it is entered. They will have to rename the award the 'Wayfinder Ennie', the way that Wayfinder is going to take it year after year after year if standards stay at these levels.

Shadow Lodge

I just have to add how impressed I am with this issue. Honestly, it's amazing, even by the standards set by the last two. Love it!

And I'm totally not biased or anything *coughs*

My apologies to the artists for I couldn't email the link yesterday, I was totally cut-off from any internet access.

I just emailed it now, so you should have it real soon. If by any chance you did not, just email me and I'll link you up personally.

Thanks for all your work!

Sovereign Court

I got it, looks great!

In this upcoming story Boswic C Hamptin is forced to deal with the Red Mantis . . .
