Going to take the dog to an orthopedic vet to tell me what I already know about his medial luxating patella grade three ... it'll cost $$$$ to get it treated surgically. rassum frassum....

Morning folks.

Night. I'm off to bed with the missus. I may actually get over 5hrs sleep tonight, depending on if I decide to read some more "Don't Split the Party" before I actually go to sleep.

Oh and Mairk: I'm crazy... it's easy to do when you're not sure if you know how! ;)

Mornin' AZ, Uri. Night Flash.

Have you ever woke up in the morning to go to work, and wondered "Why do I bother."?

This would be one of those days, on the up side I'll be getting off early, on the down side I have to go back out tonight to do a follow up on that 10pm resturant.... for free.

The Exchange

Oh and for those of you who are a part of it, I left a message on the FB thread, look in the random room.

See you good, and CN folks later.

Good night Flash!

Good morning everyone else!

Also, he left his Atari, Sega Dreamcast, Nintendo Gameboy, Super Nintendo, and one or two OLD game systems. The sad part is that I will probably never use any of that stuff.

Congrats?

I feel really bad for them, but arguing politics on an Internet forum is self-defeating. It's a poor vehicle for civilized discourse. Stick to nonsense - that's my motto!

Nonsense is funsense.

I hope it's something else, and therefore less expensive.

Looks like my trip to Houston won't happen until Sunday or Monday. I'll get to enjoy my day off tomorrow, after all. :)

I will do an inventory check this weekend, if I am not busy at work. Once I have a list of all the stuff, I will post it here.

All of my friend's stuff has been in my attic for over a year. I went up to just look at it when I realized just what he had left here.

If this trip is better than my last trip, I just might have time to do that. Excellent suggestion!

Well, the day is interesting thus far. The police are back. Someone kicked in the neighbor's door last night. Maybe the guys forgot some of their stuff after they got kicked out?

The new asthma meds are working great and I can almost breathe normally again. Only had to take the rescue inhaler once yesterday. I don't know if it's the new medicine or coming off of taking that many stimulants from when I was taking the rescue inhaler every four hours, but I am exhausted. Still, should feel all better in a day or two.

Great news about the new meds!

Yeah, but it's really painful. You have to do something. But not this.

Awesome news, Lynora. Fatigue could simply be an aftereffect of the extended asthma, too. Give it a little time. That's nasty stuff. Have they tried theophylline with you? It's an oldie, but it worked (watch toxicity).

Wish I had the old Pong game my dad built from a kit.

Your dad rules. Was he able to toggle the size of the paddles too? Cuz I remember that being amazing. I was a stupid kid and once thought I could beat my friend with his gigantic paddle and me with the one that was only a couple of pixels(or what have you) big.

I don't even know what theophylline is.

And thanks again for the well wishes guys. Being able to breathe is a good thing. :)

I too am glad you're doing better. How's the little one?

I'm taking the little one to the doctor this afternoon. He keeps complaining of stomachache and that his neck hurts. It seems like it's just that he's stressing himself out, but always better to be safe with stuff like that.

I hear you. It's sad that a child can be "stressed out". There's plenty to be stressed out about as an adult. A child shouldn't have to be stressed out about anything. 3rd grade, my son is bringing home 3-5 hours of homework. Remind me again what the school is there for?

I used to bring home similar amounts around the same grade.

When I was teaching middle school (8th grade math) I was told by a number of parents that I wasn't giving out enough homework. It's interesting the different expectations put on by either parents and/or teachers.

So I tried to take advantage of a credit card reward deal today, Wal-Mart gift cards at half off. Knowing they would get slammed I logged in ahead of time, but the site still kicked me out when the bell struck one o'clock and I couldn't get back in for a half hour. Guess what? Yep, they're sold out. Bet the aholes only had a hundred to sell in the 1st place. So much for that new lawn mower. Stupid citirewards.

He did rule! He also built a component stereo system from Heathkits (remember those?).

This Pong was deluxe. It had one or two player and small and large paddles. AND it had split paddles - instead of one large, you could have two small with a gap in the middle. It was a triumph to win with that setting!

Hey M what do you meant that psychologists are full of beans? I am going in for the counseling side. Seeing what I've been through in my life I figured it is the best way I can help who I can. Also I think zoloft is actually working for me.

I thought M was speaking of the poster, not psychologists.

if that is the case then I can see where M is coming from. Again this is a flaw of typing it doesn't fully convey what one means. Let me see, went to class, transferred to the psychology dept for major, grad plan looks good. Today looks like it was a very productive day.
