Work stuff:
I decided to send my boss's boss an e-mail yesterday, since I was working (again), to see if she talked to her boss about me moving back to my old department. She responded with a note saying that I could call her if I really wanted to talk about it before Monday. So I did. :)
I found out that I just have to apply for an "open rec" which means they'd have to create one for me to move into. That's what I'll be investigating tomorrow. Of course, while I was on the phone with her, she told me how worried she was for me about how it might get spun. Then she proceeded to talk about how someone might say she was a bad manager, and I wondered how that would make me look bad. Ugh.
So, did Heath collapse the OTD boards? I've seen him posting a bunch, but not around here. :S

Tracked the Keller family down, they sought shelter in the National Gaurd Armory. Unfortuanatly they were then eaten by ghouls. But woh mama did I get some nifty stuff out of it! An entire Gaurd divisions weapons and body armor, I had Fawkes haul it all back to Rivit City to sell. What? They're dead! Why should I feel bad?

Naw, not at all. I can't remember exact pricing, but even when I figured in the cost of a foam underlayer, it was cheaper than the snap-lock flooring. Like, halfish. AND the strips are broader than the snap-locks, so it should lay down quicker. AND it doesn't need the underlayment, even over concrete. So it looked like a very good deal.
It also looks tougher than the floating lineoleum we have upstairs, which decided to warp and wrinkle. PoS it is. Allure seemed thicker and tougher than that stuff.

Hey! Leena's karma is so high she has a picture of Jesus beside her name! And she's refered to as "The Last Best Hope of Humanity". I mean she's killed 863 people but she's like a saint... in a halter top.... with a minigun.... drunk on vodka. ;)

Half-Prices (visited three) were pretty tapped out when it came to gaming books. So what did I do with my 50% off coupons? I picked up theological books at one and at the other two, Harry Potter soundtracks 2 & 3. But of course, I plan on using those in my Acadamae campaign.
Some lucky dude in front of me (yeap, getting there when it opened this morning before mass, there was actually a guy in front of me for the gaming section) got a like-new PH and Spell Compendium. I would have been tempted to have gotten the PH for someone who would have needed it.
