I see that you may need some lava soap for that. Apparently it's still there.

Not only do I feel that way, but that motherf*@%er Daredevil keeps attacking me.
I was laughing so hard at this, my wife thought I was having a seizure.
Hey, don't you have some more of those Delayed Blast Meatballs to make? They are a big hit a troll parties you know.

Looking forward to its first use. (And the subsequent translation.)

So it is... fresh coat of paint it seems.

At least the lag has let up some.

Awright folks, I'm off to shave and get some sleep. This was a hard ride on the inspiration-go-round, but I finally have tentative titles for my weird cleric-alternative-channel-energy-homebrew-thingie: Boons and Burdens. Boons accompany healing/positive energy, burdens damage/negative energy. Hope to have it cleaned up so I can slap it into the revised clerics entry before the end of the week.
Shave then sleep?????????????

Well, talked to my mom. Little brother sounded good today. Back to normal even.

It was scary. At times he didn't recognize us. We thought he was having a psychotic break. But so far it seems that the lack of sleep and energy drink thing is what caused his little hiatus into la la land. It was funny though, when I was allowed to see him he behaved and relaxed. Of course I didn't let him act up. I just told him to sit and hush, and he did...for teh most part.
The nurse says that he may be released today, and they took him off of suicide watch this morning. The only reason I wish they would keep him one more day is so that he could speak to the psychiatrist. Apparently here protocol is 72 hour observation and then you talk to the doc. :S

Glad to hear that. I hope the improvements keep coming.

Cool! Wood or the plastic rebreakable kind? When my kids did Taekwondo, the place they went to used rebreakable boards. I thought it was weird, but I found out it was a lot cheaper than wood.

I've done the plastic before. That's kind of fun too -- but wood boards feel more ... real. (Did the wood ones on Monday.)

Well, I worked at the old house today, going through old stuff of my great grandparents, grandmother's and mom's. Kind of depressing and kind of cool at the same time. Doing it by myself is probably the worst part. So I wasn't around to post today. Doesn't look like I missed a lot...

Lynora: Hope you feel better.

Solnes: Very sorry to hear about your brother.

And now time to close the store and find out what Studpuffin's been up to at home. I'm betting Total War, though he kept eyeing my Civ game last night.

Thinking about things like that gives me an existential crisis. My garage has a large number of personal stuff from my deceased father-in-law. Sometimes, I look at my own possessions, particularly things like photo albums or other sentimental things, and think to myself about how they will likely end up in boxes in the homes of my kids.

It creeps me out.

Ha! So we decided to just order pizza tonight....I called, placed teh order and the guy said he would be here in 45 minutes. So an hour and a half later I call to find out where our food is. :\
The guy tells me that he deleted my account on accident and didn;t have our addy or number to call, so dinner is free! FTW!

Yeah. And when I think how many people left even knew my great grandfather and my grandmother, much less give a damn, it's pretty depressing. My mom saved all this stuff, and I guess I'm just about the last person that cares. Trying not to feel bitter towards Dad.

Free food is always nice.

And that reminds me of this morning when I saw one guy open up a trash can and grab a Bojangles bag out and another guy was sleeping on a stone bench outside the building where I work.

A lot of this stuff I want to scan and save electronically. But I need something more dependable than the effing Iomega that I recently found out is screwing up one out of every 10 or so files.

I know it well. My family name will live on in this country for as long as it is around but that doesn't mean anyone will remember my father other then me and my sister. :/

That's the wave of the future, friend. I would love to have most things from my grandmother and grandfather, and late almost-mother-in-law backed up online or on computer. I say go with online storage as opposed to Iomega or finger drives or even external hard drives.
