sorry, need to feel closer to my people. I must rule from the place of the common man and not from some lofty tower. Though those are fun to rain pitch down on the unruly one.

why thank you my loyal peasant. ~whispers to aide"Keep that one safe and prepare some fried okra and Jambalaya"~

Do not make sic the badger on you.

Oh, sorry sir. I thought I would be regent of the area with snow since I know how much your clan does not like sub zero temperatures in the winter.

Blech. I like iced tea, but only if it doesn't have any sweetener in it. Sugary tea just tastes wrong to me.
Unless it's Long Island Iced Tea. Top Shelf Grade.

I'll take 4, plus a Absolut Vanilla and coke, as well as a gin and tonic

Can't have anything with vodka in it. It makes me cry. :(

I on the other hand can ONLY have it sweet. Either with two Sweet-n-Lows or several spoonfuls of sugar. Can't stand unsweetened tea.

+1.

The biggest thing I dislike about trips up to Solnes former homeland is the lack of sweet tea, they always say "There's sugar on the table".... my response "Have you ever tried to disolve sugar in COLD water?".

Might as well be drinking sand. I hate doing that! Sweet Sun Tea FTW!

We're getting sweet tea everywhere in The Looee. It's strange. The South *is* rising again, with okra and sweet tea.

I don't know. I guess I kind of feel a liitle out of place here now.

Hush, tadpole. Just do what others should be doing and ignore anything I imply or suggest. After all, I am disturbed. On a scale from 1 to 10, I'm a Moorluck. That's like ... a 12?

If you two are a 12, what does that make me? A 15?

Vent?
Ventrilo. A voice-chat program.
Wait, you can do multiples concurrently? Link, please.

Ventrilo website

To run a game you'll need a server, the cheapest one I've found is about 2.50 or so a month and allows 10 people on at a time, more people means more expense but for a D&D game I doubt you'll need anymore than that.

The servers I use are hosted here: NFOServers

If you're going to run an internet game, I also heartily recommend MapTool and TokenTool.

Thanks for the info.

That is what I hated the most about when I lived in Columbus. When I asked for sweet tea at restaurants they thought they knew what I meant but didn't. Sweet tea is not the same as adding sugar to iced tea.

Family cat died today. I had no clue that he was sick, although Dad mentioned that he had started eating less.

I know he's over 20 years old. Showed up in October at my Mom's old house when my daughter was little. She insisted his full name was Spooky Spider. Spooky, you are missed. :(

Awwww, that's awful. Poor Spooky.

Edit: Wow, Teter lost his Spooky last year.

I hear it's unconstitutional if you kept that Tiamat mini. For your well being and sanity, you should bequeath it to me. You'll feel better and well rested the following morning. :D

Yeah, I thought of that last year. Spooky just seemed so healthy. I remember he was bringing down birds in impressive ways just months ago.

I worked at Buckeye Steel Castings as an electrician from April 2001 til October 2002. I had the fun of doing both the electrical and mechanical work on all the cranes in the plant as well as working on a lot of other "cool" stuff.

Edit: I worked from April 2000 to October 2001.

Was this at the Worthington Industries Plant just north of I-270?

So, what's everyone been up to today?

Wedding stuff. We got the Wedding License today, worked on the belts and the scabbards to hold the swords in and spread mulch around the yard.

Guess which one of the three annoyed me the most? ;)

Spreading mulch around the yard? I hate yardwork with a passion.

No, it was at Buckeye Steel Castings.

Here is a map

If my memory serves me correctly, I would follow US 23 North into Columbus where it was one and the same with South High Street. Then I would cut east across 104 and take Groveport to the plant to get there from my hometown.

I can't seem to find my apartments though. They were about 4 or eight miles to the east of the plant. I took 104 from the east and then to groveport rd on my way to the plant.

I think that olde coventry road east was the spot I lived at.

I would go Noe bixby to Refugee to 104 to Groveport to get to work.
