Good news from Iowa, I just filled out an application for a new apartment granted my share will be about $400 depending on what utilities run. But it is a first floor place with internet, cable, heat paid for. with a patio. Current special $75 move in fee per person, no deposit for nearly 1000 sqft. and $30 application fee, and when I bring my cat up that will be an extra $100 deposit no extra rent. Hope I get approved. Oh and the best news NO CREEPER!!!!!!!!!!

If I had a job my roommate and I would have looked at the condo's just next door for around $800-$900 (IIRC) for marble counter tops and the like. But remember cheaper property values means not a whole lot going on anywhere nearby. Oh yeah and this place is looking to get us in early say the Tuesday before PaizoCon. The good news is I don't have to get a storage space and can move in slowly on the weekends.

Surgery appears to be successful. Going to be busy cleaning up around the house and doing some additional disinfecting. The vet says I can pick up my boy at 2:30p. I confess I've been overly anxious about it. I'm just bracing to see what the full damage is going to be as I had to put down a deposit of $1050 yesterday and supposedly the difference today (I signed a quote that stated it'd be anywhere from $1700 to $2100 but the cynic in me says it'll be the latter).
So, if for some reason I drop off during the weekend, this is your formal announcement so no-one has to send out a search party. :D
While the money is not good news, the wellness of your dog is. I am happy to hear he is doing better.

He's sleeping away in his pen right now. Have to keep him contained despite him wanting otherwise. Kinda wince when I see the staples around his knee. Surgery ended up costing around $1900 total. $300 less than I expected. Fortunately, the two follow up visits are included.

I don't know. I guess I kind of feel a liitle out of place here now.
I have a stovetop espresso maker. Both cheaper and more convenient that a fancy espresso machine. :)
For the longest time I only had the espresso maker and a french press, but I finally broke down and got a good quality drip machine. I especially love the timer function. I can wake up to the sweet smell of coffee whenever I like. :)Yeah, so I'm pretty much obsessed with coffee. But it's so good, how can I not be. :P

Hush, tadpole. Just do what others should be doing and ignore anything I imply or suggest. After all, I am disturbed. On a scale from 1 to 10, I'm a Moorluck. That's like ... a 12?
