I don't know why you need to get your package from Paizo? Those should have been sent to my place :)

Creeper would probably spill Natty Lite on it. No thanks.

Lawn mowing completed. The woman is out doing the hedge trimmings. A shower is sounding good and perhaps heading off to the store to take advantage of triple (!) coupons.

And beginning tomorrow ... HPB has their annual Memorial Day weekend 20% off sale commencing. Giggidy!

Ah to Smurf with this, I wanna live *pulls back the slide of a gun*

My dinner was good. Not sure what exactly it was though. I just threw ground beef, cheesy scalloped potatoes, fresh mixed veggies, and more cheese in a casserole dish and baked for 30 min. Served with extra veggies and corn on the cob. Mmmmm!

I went two to branches this morning and put my tomorrow books on hold today. No one will beat me to them...

People, if you have a Maggiano's in your town, go there and get the Apple Crostini (sp?) for dessert, served with vanilla ice cream. It's like apple pie but with easily twice (thrice?) as much crust. OH.MY.SWEET.TASTEBUDS.

And why didn't everyone love Cloverfield?

There weren't enough motion sickness bags at the theater.

Um, cause I have motion sickness issues and couldn't get through the previews without feeling like I was gonna vomit let alone the movie.

Solnes wrote:

A classic. I first saw it in Harvard Square in Boston. There was a whole mini-cult that went there every weekend.

I liked it. I thought the POV was unique enough to be engaging, and I don't get motion sickness so I was OK. There were a bunch of holes in the plot, but many movies suffer from that.

Speaking of plot holes, anyone ever see Legion? Just watched that last night and man talk about not wrapping things up/ praying for a sequel to be budgeted in ...

I just speed read now, since I miss most of the day postings. It's getting like my FB feed these days =P

'sokay. It's not for everyone. I love it but can usually have only the one dish at one particular restaurant because of the fish sauce. But I learned how to make the good stuff for myself and often do. I just substitute soy sauce for fish sauce. No one can even tell the difference. Well, I can, on account of the not dying, but other than that...;P

Basically the kidlet is predisposed to like any and all spicy food because it gives him the intense sensory input he needs. And I can't really argue with it. I used to eat spicy pepper like they were going out of style. :)

Was it good enough for a sequel? I skipped it was not sure it was worth a first look.

PS did you notice my FB replies?

Yeah well the temp outside went up 20* in the last day and the water has yet to dry up. My AC is jacked up in the van and only 1 window will currently roll down. I am too damn lazy right now.
