If I had any regrets ... having dipped my feet in the ocean should have warranted a follow-up swim. The water did feel good.
What was even more amusing was when I turned around and there was that girl laying right there splayed out and ... yeah. What if someone would have accidentally tripped head first. o.O

We've had the AC on a ton the past few days. It's 90 today, and near 100% humidity. I can't even go outside in that.
It's not just the snow that I hate about Rochester. When it gets hot it's always always always so humid you can scarcely breathe. When we were on vacation in Los Angeles, it was 85 and lovely every day. In Rochester, you just want to die in 85 degree weather (humid heat vs dry heat and all that).
It also doesn't help that our apartment is on the second floor, and all the windows are on one side, preventing any cross ventilation (and as an added bonus, that one side happens to be South).

Only for males. The less females wear, the higher their AC. That is a well-known fact.

Does that mean the infamous bikini sorceress actually had an AC of -5?

I was just teasing, of course. I figured since the picture originated in a 2e sourcebook, I should pick an AC that would be really good in 2e.

I think my favorite kit was called the "Halfling Physician" or something similar from the Book of Gnomes and Halflings. I think I just liked the picture, and the mental image of the "country doctor". Of course, in hindsight, I have no idea what a hobbit General Practitioner would be doing in an adventuring party.

Denying the other party members' insurance claims.

Well, the kidlet is being much better behaved today. :)
I took him to dinner and let him pick the place. He picked No Thai. Mmmm...sweet and spicy chicken. :)
Er, yeah, and No Thai is a thai restaurant. The main chef is named No. People often get confused by the restaurant name. :)
That makes about no damn sense.
