Ain't the 1st and won't be the last.

Hee hee. My wife waits until I'm feeling crappy or really tired to have a major discussion about our relationship.

Urizen - You might want to browse "godless" in a library before you commit cash to it. I haven't read much of it, but it seems shallow and self-serving. Studpuffin might have a better say. I need to read more to be fair about it.
The Dan Barker book, correct?
yessiry.
theists & atheists alike can be self serving, but it also depends on your personal viewpoints as to whether it bothers/irks you more. Not knowing really what yours and Treppa's viewpoints are, it's probably a matter of speculation (or semantics?). while I don't pose a fundamental/militant position, I think most are aware which side of the fence I straddle. :P

Doesn't that fence straddling hurt?

Anyone here read Good Omens? Are they ever going to make that into a movie?

Great book! I can only imagine Terry Gilliam doing it any justice, but I'm willing to be proven wrong. :)

I want to publicly thank a fellow FAWTLer, Amby, for hooking me up with a spare microphone so that I can tryout Skype on my laptop. And in turn, she even got her self a fluffly FB profile pic after much harassment on my behalf. Got to like a gal like that. =)

I sent you out a bunch of suggestions as a lot of folks on here are included in them. Any questions, just post away. =) Welcome aboard!

I'm sorry, but classy Celts of today always have boxers on underneath. I REALLY want a Scott tartan.

Come down to main street St. Charles... we got a place right down the street that makes tartan and period clothes.

@Moff Rimmer
Ha, yeah its always funny when that happens. Its odd being the straight guy in a group of gals and gay friends... of course they give you odd looks when you see an attractive gal, so it swings both ways so to speak. :P

The writing group I'm in consists of myself, women, and a gay man. During one meeting, when the off topic discussion to an appreciation of firemen's "assets", I decided to see if I could find a Coke.

Or they'll want to have a relationship talk when you're trying to watch a ballgame. *sigh*

Speaking of hotels, how many FAWTLers are going to GenCon in August?

I'm happy, 'cause I just found out that it falls right btwn 2 reunions for me, so no conflict with fun stuff. On top of that I'm off work for another 3 weeks at least. Then I'll still have 5 weeks vacation left for the year. Boy, my boss is gonna hate me. Yes, I'm sure I'm gonna get one of those lectures, 'well, you don't HAVE to use all your vacation time. I gave back x days last year...' Bleh.

After 25 years of marriage and 29 yrs together, we don't have many relationship talks. I get the 'this is wrong, and it's your fault' talks. ;)

Well, yeah, that's what I meant by "relationship talks". Except, I always get the question asking why I'm doing it wrong. "I dunno" never works.

The 'OK, I'm sorry. So, how long before we can have sex?' anwser doesn't work well either.

No it doesn't. :) A few years ago I was told by my girlfriend at the time that if I wanted a fair relationship, I should go find an ugly girl. Women have us over the barrel and they know it.

You can thank Clinton for FMLA. =)

I am seriously considering GenCon. If I'm coming from home, it's a 3 hour drive. If from my woman's hometown on the west side of Cincy, it's 2 hours.
