Just a quick update to let you all know I survived surgery and am on the mend. Still in the hospital for now but healing well. Thanks for the good wishes. Looking forward to some roleplay to pass the time while I recuperate!

Well had I been a bit faster coming up with the stuff that would have helped :P But adding the die rolls plus checking results and modifying again... takes some time :P

I'll never forget the many times she'd pull up to the fabric store "Ok kids! I'm just going to be five minutes." And us five kids would howl bloody murder because it's amazing how often those 5 minutes turned into 30-60 minutes. lol

As a heads up, you guys are done with the first 'level' of Thornkeep, after you make one note in the newly discovered room. Woot!

Took a bit, and stretched your resources out, but you all survived!

I'll have chronicle sheets sent out tonight or tomorrow :)

Lastly, are we still ok with me GM'ing 1 more, with some PC's getting 1/2 credit to balance things out? I'm looking at a fun 1-7 game so we can keep gold and challenge as balanced as possible.

One more thing I'd like to suggest:

If you guys want a random chance at prizes, we can run the next scenario as part of the First Official PbP GameDay. Basically, the next game won't start til Oct 5th, but then we do our stuff as normal. I'd sign up for the scenario, and when the table gets created, I'll shoot you guys a message so you can join in! You'll have to create accounts on Warhorn.net to sign up.

What say you? I'd like a response by tonight so I can register tomorrow. If not, then I'll get started with the next game within a week or two.

If you're game to GMing another, that's for sure fine by me. I like the idea in taking part in the Official Gameday, and the online PFS community. So that's got my vote. Waiting till the 5th is a bummer, but I'll do it! :)

Amnur, Orion, and Shilyn were the ones who had to take half-credit; otherwise they would have been too high level for this stage of Thornkeep.

However, stupid me, I just realized that I can apply the 1/2 credit to the module, so they'd get 1.5 XP and 2PP and 1/2 the gold. I'll do that on this, so they get rid of their silly 1/2 chronicles. Except, of course, if they want the full 3 XP out of this instead of the 1.5. I'll leave that to them.

Regardless, after this, everyone except Varian should be level 3; Varian will be level 2.

Actually, despite the risks involved for Varian (again), how does running Thornkeep level 2 sound? It's a fun one (arguably the best of the levels IMHO). It's also a bit smaller than the first floor, so it should go by a bit quicker. Average CR is 4, although there are some 5's in there.

Varian should be 2nd level now, so will have afew more hp, but still behind everyone else I think.

Alright, I'll give out the fix'er 1/2 chronicles; the next ones for level 2 of Thornkeep will be full chronicles (and that results in a significantly better amount of gold gained in the long run!).

I'll submit a request to run Thornkeep pt2 for the PbP Game Day; until then we'll do casual RP in the discussion section/continuing exploration of the town of Thornkeep until Oct, or when we are allowed to start per the Online VC's direction.

It seems like there aren't any objections to this, but please let me know now if this'll be a problem.
