St. Louis Missouri, not that Missouruh place that everyone talks about. I have no idea where that is, can't find it on google maps either.

It's the country part, you know just outside of Ciliconthe(sp?) Through the rest of the state and ends at KC (Kansas City not Kobold Cleaver)

@Woody - You upgraded to Windows 7. Were you doing it from Vista or XP? If XP, I have questions.
I did it from Vista
but my stepfather upgraded from XP
Did your step-father had to restart clean or did the upgrade go well? I'm having trouble with my XP on my desktop because of a registry barf and it's the OEM that came with the computer. I can't back my stuff from that hard drive and if I do the XP reinstall, I'll lose everything. I don't have an XP boot-up CD either to get around it and fix the problem. Thought about buying the 7 install disc so I can get my desktop up and running again. Just wondered....

Heh. Well, I was going to say Kroger's, but I don't think that supermarket chain extends out there.... Can't recall if Meijer's or Walmart has it, though.

Walmart might, but they're a last resort for me.

he said it will store all your old files, just don't delete any drivers, and you will have to reinstall some if not most of your actual programs.

Ok.
P.S. I strongly, strongly recommend installing Secunia PSI. Great for keeping up with updating drivers and/or programs that has security patches/risks on your system. It's free.

I went for the student discount. I got windows 7 ultimate 64 bit encryption for (you might want to sit down for this) just under $10.00

most schools even community colleges offer student discounts. Usually at the bookstore. even a non business student can get a copy of the OS for $35.
my buddy got windows 7 for 10 bucks from the local CC

I'll have my g/f check out her local community college, then. And she needs to upgrade to Snow Leopard on her Mac. Thanks!
