Bardic Knowledge

At 1st level, a bard selects one Knowledge skill. He gains 1 bonus skill point to place in that Knowledge skill and an additional skill point every time he gains a level. In addition, a bard adds 1/2 his level (minimum 1) to all Knowledge skill checks and may make such checks untrained.

Bardic Performance
Once per day per bard level, a bard can use his Perform skill to produce magical effects on those around him (usually including himself, if desired). While these abilities fall under the category of bardic performance, they can be activated using any Perform skill, such as dancing, singing, playing an instrument, or performing comedy. Each ability requires both a minimum bard level and a minimum number of ranks in the Perform skill to qualify; if a bard does not have the required number of ranks in at least one Perform skill, he does not gain the bardic performance ability until he acquires the needed ranks. Some abilities
can only be used by a bard with a specific type of Perform.

Countersong, Distraction, Fascinate, Inspire Courage

Menchalatl Solielx vaguely remembers his childhood. His life was spent wondering the streets and observing the landscape. He loved going out in the evening hours and always stood in the shadows watching all back alley deals going on, and he can only guess that that might be the reason he can not remember most of his formative years. He does remember that one person at least showed him some kindness.

This man was Cru Ludiet a somewhat minor but capable swashbuckler. From his training Menchalatl learned to handle himself with a blade. But after learning to use the blade Menchalatl found Cru's old violin and he decided to give it a try and with astonishment it came incredibly easy to him. Cru overheard the strange melody and decided to look into it, and he was shocked. Cru couldn't believe what tremendous potential laid in this young lad. After several years of friendship Cru advised Menchalatl to go and forge a name for himself. When they departed ways Cru wished Menchalatl luck, and in reply Menchalatl responded the name is Leux (Lux).

Since leaving Leux has worked as a deckhand for several ships while practicing on his fiddle, and on this day his ship just docked at Riddleport.

Solidly built, The seawater and air has lead his once long silken black hair into long dreads which he tries to keep tied back in a ponytail. He wears a wide brimmed hat and keeps his color motif in the realms of black and rich purple. He is normally nonchalant and has a whimsical attitude. He seems to "go whereever the wind blows kind of attitude." He decides to enjoy life and tries to avoid useless conflicts. He enjoys to be around good friends, good drink, and good times.
