Alchemist infusions question and more

Round 3: Alchemist and Inquisitor

At first glance the infusions seem to be good but why do i have to spend a discovery to give them to my other party members? after looking though and creating a lvl 10 alchemist it look like its going to be a lot of fun though. The only thing I need now is a pdf list of things I can create with craft alchemy with the dc to create and how much it is.

Liberty's Edge

I agree that it's wonky to have extracts be powered by the alchemist's personal magical aura. I realize that Paizo wants to do a different take on the alchemist, but if they get too far from something iconic, they risk not only alienating large portions of the fanbase but diluting the entire purpose of a base class (which is to capture something iconic and unique, at least IMO).

Anyway, I sincerely hope that the alchemist gets a major overhaul before the APG is released. It's especially disappointing since I've really enjoyed the concepts and directions to come out of the first two playtests (even if they needed a little tweaking, like the summoner).

Liberty's Edge

I disagree with Jeremy above. Having got into Pathfinder late into the piece, I love the fact that it is trying to differentiate its classes from what people might expect. I dont think there is anything 'iconic' in the D&D mythos about the Alchemist and I applaud the fresh take on the Alchemist.
