Hmmm... let's see: Sorceror-like casting... but with Specialist Wizard like slot-costs? Hybrid Spell List w/ Healing type Spells? "Reserve Feat"-like abilities? Free Metamagic Feats as you qualify for them, level-wise? Automatic 0-spell level adjustment Silent Spell? Psion-Monk PrC? Crystal "Psionic Scrolls/ Spellbooks"? I could see bringing back a 2nd-Edition like multi-"Casting Stat" approach, with different Schools of...
check out wayfinder 2 page 63. a stab has been taken at a psionic bloodline. Not to bad

This is a test of the speculative pathfinder prediction system. This is only a test. Were I really informed on what was coming in the months and years to come, this message would be followed with lawsuits for violating Paizo's NDAs. This is only a test.
Wes ran a Ustalav playtest at PaizoCon and mentioned in a blog post that since then he has begun outlining the region in much more detail.
I played in Wes' game at PaizoCon actually. It was really damn fun. While I could possibly see this being expanded to a full AP, I'm not quite sure that was the original intent to the module. Now, I could be fully wrong, because we did end up giving some good (at least I hope we gave good ideas?) points about the module, which could very well expand it into a full AP....
Actually now that I think about it more, I think it'd be absolutely awesome to have a full 6 AP module set in a horror theme. I don't know how willing Paizo would be to do that, but hey I think it'd be awesome.
Wes?!?! You hear this. We're talking to you!

Paizo would be VERY VERY VERY VERY willing to do a horror-themed Adventure Path.

I'd actually like to see Vhudra get it's own AP, to tie in with a psionics rules release. The geographic element of Golarion psionics has charmed me into liking that genre, which I have previously disliked.
I'd second this, especially if the AP started in Vudra and ended up on Castrovel.

+1
But I have somewhat come to peace with psionics. It'll come when it does.

Considering how (IMHO) strongly horror-themed all five APs have been so far, I'm...disturbed...by this.
I'm not sure I would agree with your assessment of the previous APs (and that is no knock against you whatsoever, we're all individuals with unique tastes and perspectives). Rather, I think they've been all grittier than what we've seen in comparative products from other companies.
Golarion is kinda gritty and edgy while still being diverse in its range of themes reflected in its various locations and countries.
A Ustalav AP would be pretty cool..
So would a Geb AP for that matter...

James Jacobs wrote:Paizo would be VERY VERY VERY VERY willing to do a horror-themed Adventure Path.Would you include the rules for Sanity loss and physical corruption a la Taint when you do this?
SM
Probably not.
There are rules for madness and insanity in the upcoming Gamemaster's Guide (STEALTH PREVIEW: insanity is treated as an affliction, like a curse or disease), and if we do a horror AP we'll absolutely be using those rules.
I've never really been a fan of things like "taint" or "corruption" or stuff like that as a way to FORCE a PC to be "scared." Such game elements absolutely have their place, but they work best in moderation... not as a blanket rules system that suddenly comes up into play whenever you play a "horror adventure."

I think a zombie outbreak prevent/stop an apocalypse AP would be awesome. But that's just the zombie fan in me wanting to see Paizo treatment of the genre. :)

I'd love to see a gothic horror AP. I'd been prepping my group for run through some Ravenloft stuff, but that fell through; I'd love to see Paizo's take on something in the same vein.

I'd love to see some rules using Taint as the effect of a Bestow Curse spell. Rather than the few options listed in the spell descriptions, you could role-play a variety of hideous physical deformities (and terrifying mental abnormalities) that result. Of course, you'd also have to modify other stuff like Remove Curse, but I like the idea so it's always hanging around in the back of my mind somewhere as something to tinker with. You know, someday.

The town nearest Angkor Wat in Cambodia is called Siem Reap. My understanding is that Siem Reap translates to 'Place where we killed the Thai'.
So yeah, it might be a controversial move ;-)

Yet another reason to do a Lastwall/Belkzen AP:
Send. MORE. ORCS!!!

There was a time when orcs felt overplayed. That time has passed.
What i am really curious is when we will see the big hobgoblin warmachine again. I know they got the spotlight recently (but i missed The Red hand of Doom) but i hope for a Roman Empire with Legions and Centurion Hobgoblin nation appearing in Golarion.

Btw- I *really* like the sound of all the upcoming APs- Jade Regent, Kingmaker, the hints of a possible Gothic-themed one, etc. -
(Okay, I'm not wild about the Mwangi-themed one- but I'm sure it'll be good, regardless.)
Oh yeah- and I like the idea of an AP set in Vudra quite a lot. I like the suggested tie-in to psionics, though I get that it's hard to introduce all-new ga,e mechanics for something that's not covered in the Core books...

I shall say this only once. Okay, I'll probably sound like a broken record until it happens. Me wants a Mendevian Crusade/demonic horde adventure path! Please?
Ooooh! I'd be down for that! Such an AP could easily build on the popularity of Dragon Age, too...though obviously, more Golarion-themed, of course.

Have there ever been any orcs in any of the Pathfinder APs? I can't think of any...

Indeed. That might actually be why it's been back-burnered - cuz folks were burned out on the heavy demon/demon-ish themes from the Dungeon APs - all of which went to that well in one form or another (Savage Tide most deeply, of course).
That's been a while in the past, tho; I think that, like orcs, demons have been sidelined long enough that they might start to feel fresh again, especially if we took the tack some have discussed of having the humans be the aggressors, crusading AGAINST the demons and their minions, rather than uncovering a Sinister Plot to Destroy the World hatched BY the demons.
Come on, the inquisition, the purging the demon seed, rooting out the wicked, factions within the crusaders... this thing could be capital G capital R number 8! :)

Agreed. Heroes heading off to rid the world of demons, taking a proactive role rather than having adventure thrust upon them, might make for a cool change of pace. And there's enough distance between the demon-themed APs of the Dungeon days that it could make for a good series to explore in another area of the campaign setting...but one which draws crusading "heroes" from all across the Inner Sea, so PCs could literally come from almost any walk of life.

Skeletons of Scarwall had a small bit of mano-a-orco at the beginning.
Other than that, not much really.
D'oh! I start Skeletons of Scarwall on Thursday as a player! I guess I should pose my questions a little more carefully. :-)
