Can an Eidolon's Base form change as it "evolves"

The subject pretty much sums it up.

As an example;

Levels one through three your Eidolon is a small quadrupedal form (small black cat)

Levels four through six your Eidolon grows to a medium quadrupedal form (medium black panther)

Levels seven through twelve your Eidolon evolves into a medium bipedal form (medium cat man)

Levels thirteen through fifteen your Eidolon evolves into a medium serpentine form (medium flying feline Serpent)

Levels sixteen through eighteen your Eidolon evolves into a large serpentine form (large flying feline serpent)

Levels nineteen through twenty your Eidolon evolves into a huge serpentine form (huge flying feline serpent)

So your Eidolon progresses from your little pet cat to a huge feline dragon beasty. Great for RP.

(Seriously, the biggest thing I've wanted to do with the summoner class is run a digimon based PC, and letting the evolutions change it's form totally rocks, of course they're permanent but there is a digimon manga that follows the permanent style and I'm about to propose a feat to change that.)

I just saw an official post on another thread, the base Eidolon does NOT change as you increase in level, it is set.
