This leads me to beleive that this is the mid-section of a half-orc cavalier!
Yeah exciting stuff, I know many don't like more that the core 3 (now 2 with PfRPG!)
but I love new rules books, I don't really use them but I love reading them :)

This leads me to believe that this is the mid-section of a half-orc cavalier!
I think maybe that item with the cockatrice(?) on it is too small to be a shield. Look at the size of the flail in comparison. I think it's part of the armor, or at least some sort of fancy ornamentation.
Doesn't matter, really. I'm just counting the seconds to the preview's release tomorrow. Sure wish I didn't have to wait a month to try out the alchemist...

Hmm... 8 am PST makes for 4 pm UTC meaning, I'll have it around 5 pm here... *sigh* still quite a while...
I would expect 12 to 3 pm PST thats about the normal time they put stuff up

I mentioned on another thread that we'll be doing a new series of meet the iconics in a few months once the final full-color art comes in. At this point, I'm thinking the cavalier is from Mendev and the oracle is from Varisia, but that is still subject to change.

Varisia? I thought she was Mwangi or something! She looks very, very exotic! :D

Honestly... I'm waiting to see what colors Wayne chooses for both characters to decide on their ethnicity and where they're from. Anything's possible, still!
My vote is at least one from Garund! Keep up the continental diversity and all! I could see a Osirion Bones Foci Oracle!

The only ethnicity we required this time around was someone from Tian Xia, actually (the witch). But yeah, I'm hoping that we'll get another iconic from Garund as well.
Well, skimming through it, the cavalier did nothing for me.
The oracle, however, was inspiring! I'm looking forward to hearing how it works in play.

Cool! Near the college or further out? Have you been to DOKs yet (Days of Knights is the local game shop right on the main street in Newark, if you haven't found it yet.)?
