Hey Pat. How would you be?

I can't help myself... I just picked this up.

I'm good, except I opened a thread I shouldn't have and saw one of the usual suspects getting their digs in on my country.

I mean, seriously, I get it, lots of folks hate America, but it seems like a full-time job with some people.

*** big breath Anyway, moving on.

That PDF looks sweet though. I have a country in my homebrew where those puppies would fit right in.

That's why I stay away from anything not This Thread or PbPs in Off Topic...

And I had a quick skim of the .pdf and it looks pretty indepth for a race. I am itching to give it a proper read. :)

Yeah I have to remember Murphy's 23rd Law: 'Never argue with a fool, folks might not be able to tell the difference.'

Still I wish we could close individual threads, and/or ignore certain people ...

The price is right on that PDF. I might have to take a gander ...

Scarab Sages

I'd really like to send Vomit Guy into some of these more vitriolic "Off Topic" threads, but I'm worried that someone would complain and get him the ban hammer.

I thought he was allowed anywhere in the Off Topic Sections?

Scarab Sages

Yeah, he is, but I still would be worried that a complaint could get even that allowance blown away.

Edit: But maybe I'm being overly cautious. Maybe his rejection in other places has wounded my fragile psyche more deeply than even I knew.

Oh hai.

Yeah, poor guy is a masterpiece in performance art. But the ardent folks who argue their points find it insulting that some find their screed vomit-worthy ...

I for one welcome his vomitiness visiting those posts. Many of them are quite worthy of his splurchy goodness.

I remember back in the day before I had aliases figured out, and I'd be confused when I was actually talking to Heathy or Sebastian or one of you guys' sock puppets. That would give me a great laugh at myself an hour or day later when I'd realize what'd happened. That was when I had no aliases and had just started posting. Sigh, the edition wars were young then.

~shakes my cane at you~ Why you young wipper snapper! In my day we did not have edition wars! Dragon Magazine and Dungeon Magazine were going strong and the Age of Worms AP had yet to be printed! We also walked 10 mile uphill both ways in 20 feet of snow to get our magazines! You young wipper snappers have it good today! spoiled kids! ~shakes my cane at you again~ AND GET OFF MY LAWN!!!

~grins~

~shakes branch at poser~

In my day we didn't need RPGs. Life WAS a real RPG. We had magic and real dragons. Ahh, the good old days.
AND GET OFF MY LAWN!!!

Apparently, barfing. Morning, all.

Well, Ethel decided to end her affair with Bob, mostly due to his reluctance to deal with his excessive back hair and poor hygiene. Meanwhile, Bernard was busy trying to cover up his role in the genetic experiments at Ashton Clinic, involving small children combined with genetic traits from starfish and sea monkeys. And Michelle...no wait, that's my soap opera.

Maybe Smvrf Jack should pay them a visit.

Morning folks. Coffee and brownies for breakfast. :)

I had coffee and the last piece of Italian cream cake. Oh man.

Dark Archive

I'm making Tandoori Chicken tonight.

There really isn't any better way to start the day than with coffee and sweets. It is so good, and helps to put you in such a great mood. :)

I had coffee and a doughnut, so I'm inclined to agree. I figure I haven't had a doughnut in a long time, so I could get away with one :)

One every now and then won't hurt. And it is good for your mental health state. Really ... it is! ;)

I partook of a Red Bull and the Jimmy Dean-brand healthier version of an Egg McMuffin (which was surprisingly tasty) when I got to work. I live for odd food combos.... :D

Ewww...

(Side note: a healthy Egg McMuffin? Is that possible?)

Fryer, do you make Tandoori Chicken in a special clay pot?

Mmmmm, egg McMuffin. That would be good as well, but I prefer them with tea or soda, not coffee. :)

I wish a certain tier-related thread could be nuked from orbit...

Breakfast sandwiches and coffee go together just fine :) I haven't been to McDonald's in almost a decade, but the cafeteria at work makes a delicious Bacon Egg & Cheese.

I agree on the breakfast observations...though after today, I'm going to shoot for high fiber.

EDIT: I should say, the normal b/f observations.

Breakfast.

Waking up: unnecessarily painful. The mental fog is thick this morning.

What would you rather have a Dark & Stormy? :)

Callous Jack wrote:

Lower calorie (230 maybe?), with egg-white, canadian bacon, and a thin slice of lowfat cheese, if I recall. It has 17g of protein in it to help sate appetite as well.

TMI, I know... ;)

Hubby forgot to tell me that the boy was supposed to go to school yesterday. Oh well, she is getting him later today and we are doing the work now. :)

I don't have an actual tandoori pot, so I just use the oven broiler instead.

As for breakfast, I prefer sweets and coffee, or teh norm breakfast of like eggs and bacon and toast. :)

Bored today, thinking it may be a good day to read, clean a lil, and maybe do some school work early. :)
